The Prime Minister has been making an address to the nation:

"We are at a time of great uncertainty. The news this morning that the weapons used by the terrorist organisation originated in Gwlad Emrys was a blow to the whole government.

I would like to make it clear, I and the government know that we have done nothing wrong. We did not supply weapons to terrorist organisations in Maerrunoria. This is why Chief Executive Emrys the Great went to meet with the Maerrunorian Prime Minister tonight. I am told they had a constructive meeting, and it is a sign of our transparency as a government that we decided to use this approach.

The outcome of the meeting was that a team of investigators, followed by members of the Maerrunorian army, will visit this country and carry out an investigation into all branches of government and into every single political group and party.

This has been done in order to ensure that we find those responsible. No one is above the law. Not me, not Chief Executive Emrys ,not you. That is why these independent investigators will carry this out.

I assure the people of this nation that we will find those responsible. We will ensure that they are dealt with in a way that their crimes suggests they would. We will extradite them to Maerrunoria and we will ensure they face justice.

Gwlad Emrys cannot become a haven for terrorism plotting, and I do not intend it to be that way.

Thank you all. Have a good night"

The ARP Leader Arcturus Black released the following statement:

"This is an outrage, and the prime minister has shown weak and unfit for office he is with this decision. Now I do not condone terrorisim in anyway shape or form. If Maerrunoria’s claims about the terrorists being from our glorious country are true, then our government should arrest and extradite those responsible. However to just open up the keys to the kingdom is just reeking of weakness. Why should allow there people full access to our government, they have no right to enter and question government officials with no reasoning.

The prime minister is nothing but a fool for agreeing to this, if the ARP were in power I would move swiftly and arrest the terrorists but I would rather go to war then let another country enter this glorious nation and investigate however they like. You know what we were told today, you are too weak and we don’t trust you, and sadly the PM has shown the world that those claims are true."
