The President of the Metropolitan Free Land has been killed

The president of the Metropolitan Free Land has been shot dead by a rioter, only a couple hours after he declared martial law. The rioter who killed the president has currently not been identified, but the group of rioters have been linked to an anti-government group called Democracy Action Force. It is currently unclear who will be the next leader of the Free Land, but the leader of Democracy Action Force, Charlie Anderson, has stated his support for the leader of the opposition Eric Schmidt and has stated he should be instated as the new leader. If Eric Schmidt is made the leader of the Metropolitan Free Land, he has said he will "trigger a snap election to give the people a choice in who is president and make sure we can get our democracy back."
