War Against Circus Continues Despite Heavy Losses in Ambush.

Yesterday, Byzantine forces landed in Madagascar to deal with Circus facilities there, however, whilst on the road to a seemingly small concentration of forces, the Byzantine armoured forces were ambushed by a much larger amount of Circus forces, inflicting heavy losses on the Byzantine forces. The Byzantine Navy attempted to provide support and perhaps evacuate the forces, however it was too late and their fate was already sealed. 

Regardless, the Byzantine leadership is adamant to stay in the fight and has already sent forces into South America to break through heavily fortified Circus positions, and the Byzantine Empire will stay in the war for as long as they are needed.
