Amidst the current radiation crisis the world is facing.... many nations have had to deal with harsh realities... and for a small and remote island these realities are all the more harsh, Power cuts have swept the isle of Lewis and Harris leaving many isolated.

Now most of us are used to the odd power cut here and there due to our stormy and turbulent weather so in actual honesty most of the island is dealing with the situation pretty well. However the power shortage seems to have come at perhaps the worst time for a certain group of people...  who belong to a back street Birmingham razor gang....

That's right folks... the peaky blinder fans have been left frustrated after being rendered unable to watch the next episode of the hit drama Peaky Blinders. The final season just premiered a couple of weeks ago and fans were besides themselves with anticipation after having to wait 2 years... since they last watched Gang leader Tommy Shelby smoke cigarettes and speak in that famous Birmingham accent... well we are already 3 episodes in and... well! it surely has been worth the wait, with Tommy now being pitted against family rival Michael grey... as well and the fascist leader Oswald Mosley... we also have some new faces in the villain group... with Oswald new mistress  and a certain new York man known as "Uncle Jack!....This season sees all the Shelby's take on new hardship and challenges... with Thomas taking the lead once again in his legendary way.

So season 6 has gone down well so far and this is possibly the reason why fans have become so angry that they were unable to view episode 4 this week. episode 3 ended with such a immense heart-breaking revelation,  that it's impossible not to want to find out how the Shelby family will deal with this setback... and *(spoiler alert).... how will tommy continue when yet another loved one  is taken away from him.... Well sadly viewers will have to wait for the power to come back to their screens.... It is unclear when this Nuclear mess will be solved.

In the meantime the fans have taken to the streets to have their own blinders themed "gyspie" celebrations... with hired horses and a wagon... the celebrators say that in order to feel  "still part of"  the show,, they will keep the spirit of Peaky Blinders alive in there own way.... on the streets of Stornoway. Well, its certainly is  a touching depiction there devotion to Peaky Blinders..... hopefully there efforts do not go unrecognised  The celebrations are called "The Garrison pub events"... named after the Shelby's pub in the show...

By order of the Peaky Blinders....

Peter Finley.
