BREAKING NEWS

Is it all a dream? what is going on? Perhaps our Queen is not feeling well? Perhaps she has gone mad? All Is not clear as the Islands of Lewis and Harris have been turned around in a flash.

This is the statement that has come from Amhuinnsuidhe Castle an hour ago... from The Queen herself.

"The tide has turned in my heart and soul. I call for freedom, like the wind like nature... I call for the freedom of the human spirit to fly high above the constraints of conformity. My mother opposed me, for weeks she has opposed this need of mine. I see no good of governments and control. I see no need to treat humanity like a criminal. I have decided to remain guardian of land and the title of Queen that I will keep will no longer have the weight of monarch. No longer will I enforce law over this land. The only remaining laws are those in which my people have asked to be kept. This turn of events will begin to affect this Island economically and socially. All  I can say is that the great liberation is under way and I have started  the process. I will always remain Guardian and Your Queen... Although in symbol not in name.... I no longer hold this land in my clutch.. I let it fly free... Something I have been wishing to do all along."

This heartfelt speech is all we have for now... the process of change has not yet been implemented.. although the lifting of tax and the swift move to Extreme Right economic policy has already affected the average worker...

Bill Hughes coal mine CEO in Stornoway reports:

"I cant believe what this is doing .... the workers average wage has already risen by a massive 388%"

We at the press will keep The Western Isles up to date at the unheard of time.
