Sea Invasions Pushed Back; Civilians Join The War

It has been a week since the last news report was broadcasted internationally. Ever since the large-scale bombing of the Socialist Communist Kah Republic by Imperial Nukeya, broadcast stations were mostly destroyed and Imperial Nukeya launched a sea invasion soon after. However, the people were furious and enraged by Nukeya's reckless bombing of both military and civilian areas, leading to the civilian population hungry for revenge. The people banded together and prepared for the Nukeyan invasion.

At 11p.m. local time, the Nukeyan troops began storming the beaches but unknown to them, the civilians laid quietly on the beaches behind the beach furniture, crates and barriers laid out. As the Nukeyan soldiers attempted to sneakily reach the cities further inland, the civilian, government and resistance forces banded together and ambushed the invading units. People from all sides suddenly started charging towards the Nukeyan forces, firing at will. The Nukeyan forces dipped into a bloodbath of continuous death as they were surrounded from all sides. The sudden increase in manpower due to the civilians' assistance, largely turned the tide of the war and pushed out the invading forces. Though the Nukeyan battleships did resort to shelling the beaches, the invading units still had no chance. Eventually after 3 days of continuous fighting, the Nukeya invading forces ran out of resources and had no option but to retreat. The people cheered and celebrated as the transport boats sailed hastily away and as the repaired fighter jets lay down open fire on the decks of the distant battleships. 

Meanwhile in the eastern side of the Republic, the initial invasion of the Octic Pure Gear Revolution controlled territory had slowed down a few hours after the previous bombing by Nukeya across the Republic. However, in just a day, the Republic and Resistance forces were able to resupply and over 10,000 civilians took up arms to join the invasion. 2 days after the initial Nukeyan bombing, the Republic and Resistance forces continued their attack on the Octic Pure Gear Revolution forces. On the same day the Nukeyan sea invasion units retreated, the Resistance Fighters and Republic Soldiers successfully liberated the rest of Pureona into the Republic's hands. 

Further down south of the east, the Resistance Fighters and Republic Soldiers managed to force their way into the city of Pyle Wytt after 6 days since the intial Nukeyan bombing. The Octic militias down south had previously reinforced themselves with the ability to bomb the highway connecting to them and build up massive fortifications to hold up against the Republic and Resistance forces. Truth be told, their fortifications and attempts of defense stood up no chance against the ever adapting and massive Resistance and Republic forces. The Republic soldiers carried out artillery attacks on the Octic fortifications, creating a constant rain of artillery shells and an artillery shell force field, allowing Resistance fighters and supporters up at the front to repair parts of the highway while preventing the Octic units from coming too near. Slowly but surely, the Resistance and Republic forces were able to push forward and burst through the fortifications, releasing chaos on the fascists. The Resistance and Republic forces have now taken over a third of the city of Pyle Wytt.
