Earlier this day, a Nuclear Weapon has been launched against Leideria targeting civilian areas at the city of Brandenburn. The explosion caused a deadly fallout of radioactive dust and a hale of debris, causing the destruction of countless infrastracture and a yet undetermined number of deaths and casualties. Some estimates show that around 60% of the population has been affected by the blast, and many more are suffering from radiation sickness and other injuries.

President Heidelbern has ordered an immediate evacuation of the city to avoid further casualties, and has held a press conference to address the current situation.

We have ordered an emergency evacuation of everyone in Brandenburn. We have also ordered the Armed Forces to send their personnel to assist in guaranteeing the security of the citizens, as well as to make sure that everyone is fed and medically taken care of. So far, over 80,000 citizens have been evacuated and are now safely accommodated, far from the blast zone. Search and Rescue are also being tirelessly conducted by the joint cooperation of the Air Force, Navy, and numerous NGO's.

Meanwhile, the citizens from Brandenburn are distraught by the attack. One teenager who got separated from his family has tried his luck reaching out to field reporters in order to find his lost family. He has been evacuated to Bougainsville and has left this message:

"My father's name is Gerald and he was with my little brother when they left. He said he was going to start our family car, but when a large crowd tried to flee the fallout, I could no longer find them or the car. I can only hope that they're still out there somewhere, but if my father or little brother sees this I want them to know that I love them and will try to reunite with them."

Rallies have broken out around the country condemning the attack. The President later released an official statement along with the protests, and is mandating for research in deterring future attacks.

We at CH-Baudelaire Doll Postal and National Newspaper Service give our deepest condolences to the victims of this tragedy.
