Emperor tries to cut back the usage of cars

In a major effort to lower pollution percentages, Emperor Tactical Eclipse and the government aim to bring the old lines of British Railways back into service; new and improved. There will be two express trains arriving every three hours at a station and a new 'Connect' train coming in every 10 minutes. The Express route goes through Barrow-in-Furness, Stepford Central, St. Tacticus, Edgemead, and Stanley Harbour. The Connect services.. well.. connect the nation and stop at every city. Trains carrying military equipment & personnel have top priority, followed by express trains, goods trains, and finally, connect trains.

Many who own cars are unhappy because of the wasted money they've spent. Cars won't be completely obsolete, but trains will get first priority when it comes to things like maintenance and crossroad usage (where the rails and road cross each other).
