A Hundred Days, and Nuclear Warfare

The Imperon has turned a hundred days old as of 17th December 2021 on the planet Orbis. It stands undefeated and true to its core principles, and has adopted a firm stance of the No First Use policy for weapons of mass destruction.

Orbis is young. Its denizens use nuclear weapons like water. Puny weapons these are, working on the primitive principle of fission, nothing compared to the heralds of destruction that threatened a galaxy. Yet their consequences shall be terrible.

We have seen the sheer malice of WMDs in the past. We do not expect Orbis to change, as we have had the experience of ten thousand years of human nature. For what would the fledgling nations of the Imperon's new home know about the great evil of these ultimately futile weapons?
