Midnight Sky outlaws civilian ownership of firearms as the Citizen's demanded.

In the light of recent and past events of mass shooting present in school and other places of Public and religious gathering. On Monday it was reported that a Massacres had taken place at Taurus Tower, Sagittarius I; during the opening ceremony of new nursery in the area. The terror has killed 35 people including 15 children and 20 adults being pronounced dead at the scene. The scene was bloody hence the lack of image presentable with internal organ bits splattered around the room. The City later went into state of emergency as the perpetrator wasn't caught but spotted at a nearby locations and on the run. This Act of terror was suspected to be an espionage operation from neighboring countries as the intel was received just 10 minutes prior to the event.  

The Aftermath of this event lead to a Anti-gun violence protest which took place for 3 days in every city of Midnight Sky as citizen mourns the lost of innocent lives and expressing the desire to Eradicate the cause of this Massacre by eliminating possession of armed weapons. The citizen has also made a memorial plaque at the site of massacre to remember the lives lost to this horrid act of terror. This action impacted the nation's government party approval ratings quite hard and a few days later.

 The NFA was made as the Citizen and resident urges the government to implement a solution. The Midnight Sky's nation Prime Minister Midnight Lite told the parliament “We need to achieve a total prohibition on the ownership, possession, sale and importation of all automatic and semi-automatic weapons. That will be the essence of the proposal that will be put by the Midnight Sky government at the meeting on Friday…" The laws to give effect to the Agreement were passed by Federal governments only 12 days after the Traumatic massacres' event at Taurus Tower the City of Sagittarius I.
The NFA placed tight control on semi-automatic and fully automatic weapons, although permitted their use by a small number of licensed individuals who required them for a purpose other than 'personal protection'. The act included a gun buy-back provision.

Negotiation and implementation of the Agreement was originally coordinated in 2064 Orbis year by then-Prime Minister Midnight Lite. Since then the Agreement was fully supported by the Current and Coalition governments. After the agreement was signed, the Midnight Sky's Police Minister council will review and recommend changes needed to be made which is then must be voted by both party of the governing system.

With the NFA in-place, the future prospect of peace may returned to the Midnight Sky's home without worries about violence occurring.
