Today on an interview with the nation's leader, Archmage Fatalis, I had the chance to ask him about his recent decision to invest so much capital in land expansion and dragon taming programs. He told me that despite the high upfront costs, this meant a brighter future for our great nation and would lead to greater independence in the future. No longer will we depend on world trade to feed our people. I went on to voice concerns regarding the choice locations of a few farms and fears regarding the growing dragon population. Making mention of how it may not be in our best interest to till fields a top soils contaminated with fallout. His response “It makes for Greener Pastures I say.” The Archmage also claims that the fallout has been sufficiently scrubbed and should not affect the quality of the food, in fact the magics that restored the land likely will have lingering benefits to crops grown in those soils. As far as the dragons go he seemed confident that they could handle control the dragons. Only time will tell how the Archmage's latest project will effect the future of our great nation.
