Project: Dragoon, Rabbit Unveiled, Begins Mass Production
In the industrial center of Novi Sad, just outside of the outskirts of the city residential zone, sits the Checkov-Hydron Joint Manufacturing Facility, one of the largest arms manufacturing plants in the Sedrosian Empire. There, Checkov Motors has officially revealed the new next-generation Main Battle Tank for the Sedrosian Military. Built to replace the DVR-19 Main Battle tank, which served as the primary tank for the Sedrosian military has long been overdue for a full replacement. While the DVR-20 filled the role of the oldest DVR-19 models, a next-generation Main Battle Tank has been needed.
DVR-22 Main Battle Tank
Basic Tank Specifications: Baseline Price: $13.2 million Mass: 66 Tons Hull length: 26.02 ft (7.93 m) Width: 12 ft (3.66 m) Height: 8 ft (2.44 m) Crew: 4 (Driver, Commander, Gunner, Loader) Vertical Elevation: +20° / -10° Turret Rotation: 31.2°/s Engine: 1700 horsepower diesel-powered Max Speed: 50mph (80kph) Operational Range: ~350 miles (564km)
Basic Description: The DVR-22 Main Battle Tank, built by Checkov Motors, is the most recent Sedrosian Main Battle Tank design meant to go along with the next-generation armored program which started with the DVRX-20 Light Tank. The armor composite is similar to the DVR-20 and DVRX-20 tanks but with some modifications to be even stronger and more durable. The main weapon on this tank is the 144mm smoothbore cannon while one .50 caliber machine gun sits on the top side as well as both a turret embedded 7.62 machine gun and top-mounted 7.62 machine gun covering close range and anti-infantry. The ability to replace the .50 machine guns with a grenade launcher is also available. Further, the tank includes anti-drone sensors and relays as well as an electromagnetic High-Powered Microwave (HPM) emitter for targeting FPV drones and other aerial targets alongside the main (APS) active defensive system for protection from incoming enemy fire. Production of the DVR-22 calls for an estimated total of 3700 new tanks some of which to replace older DVR-19 models. Further production of DVR-20s and SDRT-300 Tanks is also planned.
Picture of Successful Test of Project: Rabbit Recently Unclassified
Meanwhile, after years of secrecy, Project: Rabbit has finished official tests, and production and deployment are underway shortly. Project: Rabbit’s main purpose is a response to increased technological advancement in close defensive systems. This weapon is revealed to be the XDC-60 Stealth Cruise Missile. It is classified how many are to be built but the first batch of missiles are slated to arrive and be deployed at the end of the year.
XDC-60 Stealth Cruise Missile
Details are only known in OOC. In character, all information is classified and unknown to the general public. The brand new Sedrosian Cruise missile is specifically designed for stealth. Almost completely invisible to enemy radar and tracking systems because of its design and RCS. This missile also has a special paint coating which disrupts the ability for lasers and microwave emitters to properly fry or otherwise interfere with the internal targeting mechanisms, propulsion systems, or the detonation device for the warhead. The three variants also mean variation in the delivery package with VLS, airborne launched from a bomber, and land-based Ballistic Missile launched ability.
