ROG FORCES LEAVE NEW BERMUDAS, MISSILES LAUNCHED

August 22, 2099

On August 21st 2099, ROG forces officially vacated the New Bermudan front after one final offensive into Cape Cluse, orchestrated by the 1st Airborne Division and 501st Airborne Ranger Regiment on August 20th. Over 20,000 soldiers charged en-masse through the streets of the city, breaking through two defensive enemy lines and losing 236 men in comparison to a staggering 2,521 enemy KIA. After this, the forces retreated victoriously back to their lines and boarded the docked troop transports waiting for them at the piers of Cape Cluse.

The naval detachment then swiftly left the area as missile technicians stationed at Norfolk AFB in [REDACTED], Iceland, fired nearly 200 non-nuclear ballistic missiles, ICBMs, and cruise missiles at the New Bermudan landmass, crippling every major city and town, as well as much of the countryside. Estimated military casualties are approximately 30,000. Civilian casualties are unknown, but unfortunately expected to be extremely high.

The Republic Of Greenland would like to warn all nations who may attempt to attack New Bermudas to stay away until further notice, as the area will soon be experiencing a Raritanian nuclear strike.
