Governor-General Sir Andrew Bartholomew Watson (December, 17th 2042-present, 57), commonly called Governor-General Watson or simply just Andrew Watson is the British born Governor-General of British Congo, as well as a retired Major-General military officer in the British Army, a statesman, writer, conservative politician, and colonialist. He worked as a Member of Parliament in 2046, and again in 2050 and represented a total of 5 constituencies. A member of the much more extreme fraction of the British Conservative party, and a close supporter of the British Nationalist Party, he ideologically believes in economic liberalism, British loyalism, and imperial colonialism.

Born in Chichester to British, French, and Belgian blood, to the wealthy, semi-noble, aristocratic Watson family, he attended posh and private schools such as Eton and later Cambridge for much of his life. He joined the British Army young at 24 in 2072 as an army officer, quickly seeing action in Zullimanistan where he took close part in during the invasion of it. He took part in a number of conflicts, including the Uchama conflict, the Iron Pakt war and most famously his leadership during the Anglo-AFR war and the Congolese separatist crisis. He was put in charge of the whole army in the Congo, and later Southern Sudan. He gained fame following clips and interviews of him passionately commanding and leading troops in Congo surfaced on the internet.

Following his rise to fame, he joined the conservative party and became MP of 5 constituencies. He later became secretary to the Minister of foreign affairs, secretary of state for the colonies, secretary of state of war and later Chancellor of the Exchequer, all of which he played successful parts in. He worked all this while still being the military head of the Congolese army, which made him an adored figure in British politics. During his time as secretary of state of the colonies, Sir Watson placed many controversial and stringent laws, many of which had to be checked by Parliament. These laws include the removal of a pay guarantee for all, separate education between ‘whites’ and ‘coloured’ and the removal of ‘coloured’ military leaders. Many of these laws were later implemented during his rule in the Congo.

Sir Watson has been a vocal figure in anti-British di-imperialism and the selling off of British colonies to foreign nations. This matched with enough votes in parliament to allow for the newly established Governorate of the Congo to be fully formed as a separate, yet a still British bred nation, to be ruled by the 1st Governor-General, Sir Watson.

Hated by the left, and controversial even with the right, Sir Watson is a popular figure in world-wide politics. Being seen as a ‘modern day British fascist’ by African leaders, Sir Watson is a mixed bag.

Early years- childhood and schooling

Born in December, 17th 2042 as the eldest brother of 3 siblings, Sir Watson was born in Chichester manor as the son of  Sir Cecil Bartholomew Watson, the English-Belgian nephew of the Duke of Oxfordshire and successful statesman, businessman, lawyer and aristocrat, and Lady Karina Jackson-Watson, daughter of Lord Chamberlain II, and grew up in his fathers manor house. Sir Watson attended or was teached by the ‘top of the line’ and was homeschooled for much of his life. In year 5, he attended Lambrook primary school where he excelled at and later joined Harrow school in Year 7.

Watson was academically very smart and has interests in history, maths, literature, and cultural studies since an early age. When Watson was 10, he and his family were in Denmark which is where he witnessed different languages, orchestras and arts, which he fell in love with.

In year 7-9 he attended Harrow where he found his love of languages. It was stated that heading just under 6,000 men. Seeing action almost immediately after being sent out to the Iberian Union to help lead the war on the side of the Iberians, however, was most likely sent as a learning experience. Watsons initial reaction to the Iberian war command was positive, stating that the nation had brilliant logisti can speak French and Dutch better than English. He can also speak Arabic, Spanish, Russian and lingala. While at Harrow, he did academically well in English, Latin/languages, PE, art and maths. He also succeeded heavily in sports such as cricket, rugby and even football, in which he became team captain of. In year 9 he left Harrow for Eton, and got all 9s in GCSE and later all 9s on A-levels allowing him to go to Cambridge for a law and order, politics and history masters, which he completed a year earlier aged 23, and began attending Sandhurst Military College while working as a lawyer for his farther firm, Watson and Sons. While at Cambridge, he became close friends with future PM Alexander Pendragon's father, Leonardo Pendragon. While at Eton, he became a close friend to his distant cousin, King Jayden Windsor, the then Crown Prince.

Sir Watson proved to be a brilliant lawyer, like his father and his grand-uncle before him, quickly rising up the ranks, becoming an associate. Nevertheless, at aged 24, under pressure  from his military-uncle Colonel Chief of Army staff John William Watson and his father, he joined the British Army as an military commanding officer.

Sir Watson was described as a bit of a ‘posh snob’ by classmates and was seen as a completionist by teachers. Friends described him as humble and smart yet competitive. While growing up, he had an array of interests and hobbies including nature, history, politics, literature, art, science, languages, grand strategy, the military, economics and culture and practised fencing, rugby, football, cricket, track and field, tennis, badmouth, traditional dancing, religious singing, swimming, archery, horseback riding, car racing, and many more. Sir Watson was known for being pious and for his love of the monarchy.

Physically, Watson was handsome, tall and strong, which made him popular in school. He had dirty blonde hair and grey eyes with strong bone structure. In his young adult life, and while in Sandhurst, Watson was known for his strong, well built physique which he maintained with many gym sessions and a harsh diet. It also helped that he practised both boxing, wrestling, track and field and amatuer weightlifting. In his later life though, when he was around 37, he began to slow down with this so-called obsession.

Early military career

As previously mentioned, Watson was born into an established military family with his uncle, chief of army staff, Colonel John William Watson (later named John William Grace-Watson, 2011-present) as well as his father who was a keen supporter of the British army and the British imperial Empire.

Watson originally wanted to join the navy after fishing trips with his uncles and his father when he was younger, however decided to join the army seeing it as the ‘true fighting force’. Watson was first sent out as a brigade commander in British South-Sudan leading the 3rd British Sudanese brigade lecs, but would later go on to state that the naval command was ‘foolish’ and ‘too powerful’. Watson later became a marine commander during the Zullimanistan invasion, where he led very successful naval attacks on Iranian shores. During his time in the war, Watson would learn much about it. While in Zullimanistan, his father died of lung cancer causing severe depression for the young marine commander.

Following the war in Iran, Watson had heavily risen up the ranks becoming the ‘head major of the Sudanese army’, however this title didn't last long as a year later he was in the Congo for the first time. Chosen specifically for his record in combat in Africa and his known skill for command and leadership, he was sent to the Congo to help lead counter attacks on anti-British Congolese separatists.

It was here, when Watson was only 26, where he first rose to fame. He led very successful and strategic victories against the powerful Congolese separatists and videos of him giving passionate speeches and talks to his some 10,000 men before battle surfaced on the internet. After 6 months, he was back in London and had joined the Conservative Party. While at the Congo, Watson acted as both a leader and a war journalist and has many times told the story of  the time he was POW during the short insurgency and the way he escaped. He bears a prisoner tattoo on his left arms. By July, most of the insurgence had finished, and Watson returned back to England, a war hero.

General of the Congolese Army

At the age of 35, Watson, thanks to pressure from his 4th cousin twice removed, Lord Barkley (Grand Duke Barkley of Hanover), and thanks to a distinguished and decorated military and political career in Africa, Watson was chosen to become the General of the Congolese Army, commanding just over 300,000 active duty men, 400 total vehicles and 200 jets (however never got control over the navy of the Congo). He played a relatively easy and calm role within this, and managed to discipline the large boy force of ‘rugged and barbaric, unsmart, men’.

During rising tension between the American TUI and the Russian Soviets, Watson was sent out to Russia as a MI6 spy. The reason for this is currently and completely unknown however declassified reports state that it was to ‘observe Russian nuclear prowess’.

Governor-General of the Governorate of the Congo

Watson was a vocal figure in pro-imperialism and colonialism, and was the main man against the selling and ‘freedom-giving’ the Empire was doing in recent years. To stop the Brits from losing any more land, he managed to convince Parliament to give the Congo freedom under himself.

Becoming the leader of one of the largest, ‘free’, countries in Africa was a challenge for Watson. He had recently retired, after many years, from the British army as a Major-General, and while yes, the army and a majority of the infrastructure was top notch, a majority lived in poverty and poorness.

While only having been ruler for a few years, Watson has proved to be a man of many talents. With help from foreign investments, he has begun to set out the early layers for a powerful, thriving nation.

Personal life

Watson had suffered from depression and light PTSD in his early years following the death of his father, whom he was close with, and his escape as a Congolese POW. While yes, he has stated that he has overcome both struggles, much of his early career was stangniat due to his PTSD. His depression further came back following his divorce with his wife Andrea Newson, who divorced following his £x scandal with a Colombian pr0stitute. Newson and Watson had been in a relationship since the 2nd term of Cambridgee and got married young aged 24.

Watson has 4 kids, 2 from Newson who currently resides in Bunker 2234 in Niwklinton, Raritania, and 2 from Watsons current wife, Lady Kathlyn Brewer of Oxfordshire. Watson and Brewer married following marriage agreements between Watsons Godfather and Lord Winston Brewer. They have been happily married for the last 20-years.

Jackson Bartholomew Watson, eldest son of Andrew Watson, died last year from radiation. This devastated both Newson, who did attempt suicide in her bunker, and Watson, who once again fell into depression. Watsons eldest daughter, Sarah Newton aged 34, is an actor and model who has huge contracts with Vogue and fashion nova and is married to famous Italian-American actor and film director Silvio Jackson Molitasnto. Eli Clayton Ravenswood-Watson, the 2nd youngest of the family and the first son of Brewer, currency resides somewhere in London and is known as a ‘party freak’ and a ‘alcoholic’. He is known for his drug use and has over 17 children from 17 different women. When he was 14, he nearly died after consuming c0caine and many bottles of alcohol. Maria Watson, the youngest of the Watsons, is currently studying in Paris for a politics, art and philosophy major. She had to evacuate following both Serdosian and Victorian invasions and is a die-hard Communist. She is currently in Budapest.

Watson was diagnosed with having a liver tumour 2-years ago, however doctors  have tried to begin to stabilise it.
