Here is a guide to the geography of New Vilania, including its climate, provinces, and four geographic regions.

New Vilania’s climate is a tropical one and is dominated by hot temperatures all year round. Its climate is mostly forests and savannas, as it is located very close to the equator.

Due to its territory being spread out and not continuous, Vilania is divided into four geographic regions: the mainland, the exclave Liberia, and two autonomous regions. In total, Vilania is divided into eighteen federal provinces, five districts, four municipal provinces, four military-controlled zones, and one special administrative territory.

Mainland New Vilania:

The mainland consists of Ghana, Togo, and Benin. It is directly governed by the New Vilanian federal government and its capital is the national administrative capital, New Vilania City. It covers 158,732 square miles of territory and about 68 million New Vilanian citizens live on the mainland. This means that it accounts for 78% of New Vilania’s landmass and 90% of its population. It is divided into 13 subdivisions. 12 are federal provinces with their own regional governments and one is a special administrative territory, administered directly by the federal government. Here is a map with each of the provinces:

Exclave of Liberia:

The exclave of Liberia consists of the territory of Liberia. It is mostly governed by the federal government, but maintains some autonomy and has its own government with the capital at St. William. It covers 43,000 square miles of land and has a population of about 6.6 million people, so it accounts for 21% of Vilania’s landmass and 9% of its population, making it the least densely populated of the four regions. It is divided into 7 subdivisions, 6 are federal provinces and 1 is a military-controlled zone. Here is a map with each of the provinces:

Cabinda Autonomous Republic:

The Cabinda Autonomous Republic is a self-governing territory consisting of Cabinda. It maintains a high level of autonomy and has its own government with the capital at Providence Bay. It covers 2,810 square miles of land and has a population of just under 1 million people, meaning that it accounts for roughly 1.3% of New Vilania’s landmass and population. It is subdivided into 4 municipal provinces and 2 military-controlled zones. Here is a map with the subdivisions (I drew this myself by editing a screenshot):

Annobon Autonomous Republic:

Annobon Autonomous Republic is a tiny autonomous territory of New Vilania that is based on Annobon Island. It, just like Cabinda, has its own autonomous government with the capital at Annapolis. However, it covers just 7 square miles of land and has a population of just 6,377, meaning that it encompasses just 0.003% of New Vilania’s total landmass and 0.008% of its population. However, it is the most densely populated of the four geographic regions. It is subdivided into 5 districts and 1 military-controlled zone. Here is a map with the subdivisions (I also drew this by editing a screenshot):
