So... you might have seen one of these absolute insanely big maps and you cannot explain how this is done. This must take very VERY much land... or not?
Actually you can do this with very limited land and this is very easy to make.

Try to use land as like a frame for your land
this will significantly reduce the land needed to portrait your nation for cosmetic purposes.
If it still takes to much land, try to make the frame thinner and thinner until you can actually change your map.
This way you can portrait bigger nations very easily and must not rely solely on other ways like creating an entirely different nation map from the ingame oneÂ
(However the biggest ingame flex will always be that you actually have so much land)
