The Army has Regained Control of the Country
Nine months ago, after the nuclear war between the Americans and the Soviets, caused confusion and chaos to break out across the country, and the government failed to respond properly to the disaster. The various militant groups used the opportunity to increase their power, taking over large parts of the country; Williamsbourg city and three other major cities remained under the control of the military. Now, after months of fighting, the army has finally regained control over the whole country, and can finally address the humanitarian problems, such as the food shortages, and restore order to the country.
There are still thousands of people still loyal to these factions, and they will still remain a threat to the security of the country; the army has given a 14-day grace period for any current member of The Iron Legion, The United Workers Front, of The WRA, to turn themselves in, and receive amnesty. After the 14 days, any member caught will be arrested, and face serious criminal charges. Furthermore, nationwide martial law is still in effect until further notice; violators will face summary judgment.
