The Poseidonoupol Project gets double extend. (November 2098)

The Poseidonoupol project which included the reconstruction of the Port of Athens (Pireus) got the Presidential signature to make the Poseidonoupol project a double extension. The first part of the extension is the connection of the Port to the airport. The Port will be connected with the airport by train. The second part of the extension is making the Port both commercial and for passengers (it was designed to be only for cargo).
The trial of the Vysantinoupol Terrorists (November 2098)
The 102 terrorists that were arrested in June of 2098 just got their punishments announced. The terrorists were arrested after the MIO (Megisian Intelligence Office) discovered their actions against the nation in Vysantinoupol while at war with the Turkish rebels. The members of the terrorist organization were sentenced to life in Prison with no given chance of appeal.
Small changes in the school curriculum for high schools (December 2098)
After the vote of the Megisian Parliament (170 In favour | 130 against) the school curriculum got some minor changes. Changes included changes in the books, New subject (Dutch language) as optional and some more small changes). The bill has received the Presidiential signature and will be in effect from September 2099.
The new Pension system gets implemented (January 2099)
The New pension system that was voted in the Megisian Parliament in December of 2097 and was signed by the President in February of 2098 got implemented. The bill stated that the New pension system gets implemented in the 1st of January 2099, but the Ministry of National Economy and Economics changed the implementation time to have a better gradual change.

New coast guard ships (January 2099)
The Ministry of Military announced that the army has listed a purchase of 35 new coast guard ships. The new ships are model Pythar (est. 2080) and will be used to retire old coast guard ships / replace broken ones and expand the coast guard forces. The ships will be made in the shipyard of Crete and all of them will be delivered until late 2100.
Youtuber shows how easily it is to get in Meg (January 2099)
Famous YouTuber recently made a video showing how easily you can get in Meg. The video starts in Singapore where he would get the airplane to get to Meg. When he went to check in a lady stopped him and she asked him if he has a Visa And ID with him from a country recognised by Meg. He said I have both the visa and the ID the lady told him that he can continue the check in process. He did the check in for a flight of Megisian Airways to the Vysantinoupol International Aiport "Ieron" the biggest and most secure airport. Then he was asked for the visa. He said that he doesn't have it right now. The security asked him for the name so they can check, he said his name and told the security that he had a white visa (14 days of vacation) the police said that ok we will check it and he then proceeded to the passport control when the has to scan the QR code. In the passport control he skipped everyone and got in the other side without being checked. Then once he went to the check for the baggage and him he went normally and no one cared. After getting to the airplane he arrived in Vysantinoupol (instabul) where there was heavy security. He went to the customs office and said the truth. The officer planned to give him a 2.000€ fine but he said that the Singapore airport didn't inform him. The officer denied his entrance only so 1 min later he left the office and normally left the airport and got into the city. He later left the nation without anyone catching him. The Assylum Court of Meg has issued an arrest warrant and all Megisian embassies have been notified.
Big Ecological protests and Strikes (Febuary 2099)
The Ecology protection union of Meg called all workers to strike and protest against the government and companies that are doing bad to the environment. Protests also included the immediate stop of using Nukes. Students were also called to Protest and occupy their schools. The Prime Minister Andrew Sup has publicly stated that protests without real content are really unnecessary and dumb.
