67 Senators have Co-Sponsered a Bill which will require you to upload your license to access the internet. Essentially force companies to make companies verify people's identity; so no privacy or anonymity. This would be if you want to find out about medications or any information they want to restrict you'd need to identity verification. I must be killed.

Bill doesn't say exactly how they will verify age, system to be made. Another attempt for totalitarian like control, where companies need to get your identify and personal information, share it if the gov asks. Like the TikTok bill which would have killed privacy and internet in general, this can also be killed with enough attention/pressure.

"SEC. 9. Age verification study and report.

(a) Study.—The Director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission, Federal Trade Commission, and the Secretary of Commerce, shall conduct a study evaluating the most technologically feasible methods and options for developing systems to verify age at the device or operating system level."
