Victoria's State of The Nation Address 2099 and The Economic Sanctions on Tania

President Richard Mons announces the state of the Victorian nation and the imposed economic sanctions on Tanian aggression.

       [Victoria, Basel] - With New Years Eve passing and over 2,500 fireworks are fired onto the skies of Victorian France, the people rejoiced that Victoria has reached its 9th year of being a nation. Over 4000 people are crowded in the streets of Basel celebrating Christmas and New Years even there's an ongoing war fighting for the nation. The people has boosted war support and the soldiers morale in the frontlines providing with much supply and gave its allies (Dutch and Sedrosia) some arms and food to last long in the defensive lines against the incoming Melon and Uchamese troops. Following Tania's enter of Areulia's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), Areulian ships are tailing the suspicious Tanian ships doing drills near the Areulian waters. Tania has also expelled Johore and Areulian ambassadors in their country giving a sign of aggression and resulting into the Victorian senate's decision of imposing economic sanctions to Tania. These economic sanctions include: travel ban, trade embargo, export restrictions, and the removal of Tanian market into Victoria's economic market. Richard Mons has also addressed that Victoria will come in Areulia's aid to provide military and economic support if the situation is further escalated. Over 150,000 troops are requested to pull out in Victorian frontlines on December 28, 2098 and arrived on Townsville City, Queensland. The Victorian Naval Strike Force 'Horizon' is also present in Victoria's territorial waters stationed in Sidnie, active and ready to engage hostile ships entering its waters.

        After the crisis has further escalated, Tania is actively trying to fabricate a casus belli by spreading propaganda of Areulian boats harassing Tanian ships which is exactly false due to Oceanic Security Intelligence (OSI) investigations. Victorian aircraft has also been doing exercises in Lord Howe island following its large naval base construction experimenting with long radar effectiveness and the power of new torpedo and anti-ship missiles made by Blackwater Corp. President Richard Mons has also released an announcement on December 29, narrating a state of the nation announcement on January 6 with Victoria's latest news and improvement of 2098. The SOTN announcement includes: The Economic development of Victoria, Military buildup of Victoria, Victorian Commonwealth's influence, and Victoria's future plans. The economic development of Victoria is explained with Victoria's resource exports going wild and carrying 10% of the economy. This includes: Iron exports, Uranium exports, Oil exports, Gas exports, and other mineral exports. Highest export of Victoria has been iron and uranium accumulating over 40,000 tonnes of each mineral exported from the country each day and earning 6M OBD per ship. The Victorian Oil Industry (VOI) has been continuously growing starting from its establishment on 2097 and managing to contribute 7% in the economy currently. Victoria's GDP slightly increased from 2.3T OBD to 2.9T OBD following the annexation of Victorian France. Victoria's economy has been going well and the Clementine Five Year Plan has been extended to 10 years and renamed 'Victorian Economic Plan'. The military buildup of Victoria has been great as soldiers increased from 300,000 to 578,000 and new military vehicles are made such as tanks, aircrafts, and newly developed Victorian MRAPs. Victoria's military doctrine has been kept with artillery barrages and air cavalry tactics with Victoria's battle hardened soldiers of the Victorian Civil War and War against Merchant Republic and the experienced Victorian navy during the TUI-Soviet War. The Victorian Royal Airforce also experienced harsh air dogfights in the North and Baltic Sea facing against Soviet aircraft that are on par with Victorian jets. The Victorian military has increased with Richard Mons' new military reforms and the increase of naval marines in the service to further safeguard the Oceanic waters.  The influence of the Victorian Commonwealth has drastically increased with new members such as Vilania, La Plata and the failed state of Valoriana. Nexiren's place in the commonwealth stays on top as the Victorian Commonwealth's vice-president and the temporary leader of the commonwealth currently. The commonwealth has been growing well and Victoria provides them with prototype nano-technology researched by Victorian scientists. Victoria's future plans involves the ceding of Victorian Australia to Areulia after Victoria has finally reconquests France and rebuilds the entire nation. The construction of a new Eiffel tower named Gustave Tower follows after the British Empire has taken the tower with them in the treaty they signed with Melon. The Victorian future plans will be released and teased the total industrialisation of France and possibly forming a larger influence in Europe but denies about colony discussion.

        Victoria's overall development are encouraging commonwealth members to do reforms to increase their influence and economic power with Victoria's investment of 5M OBD per week. Victoria's economy will still be carried by Victorian Trading Agency with 50% in the market and its integration of Victorian Paper Industry (VPI). After Victoria's colonisation of Haiti, Victoria has abandoned colonial ideas and instead focus on its rich mineral lands and the oil reserves in Macquarie Oil Basin near Victorian Antarctica and Victorian Macquarie Island Station. With recent Victorian bombardment of rebels in Northern Italy, the Victorian senate has decided to cut British military access in the Helvetic Republic in order to support their ally the Kingdom of Italy against the unknown rebels backed by the British and Gwynnish.

À Colmar, la municipalité teste une peinture éclatante dans le noir afin de garantir la sécurité des cyclistes. Aux abords du pont de la Mittelharth, où il y a de nombreuses chutes et où il n'y a pas d'éclairage, une signalisation a été installée.

       [Victoria, Colmar] - L'emplacement n'a pas été sélectionné au hasard, il présente un risque particulier car il n'y a pas d'éclairage. "Les chutes sont nombreuses dans ce secteur. Nous avions plusieurs solutions, soit de mettre de l'éclairage public ou des Leds au sol. On a préféré cette solution innovante," explique Philippe Scheibling, le chef de service voies publiques et réseaux à la ville de Colmar. Grâce à cette solution, les cyclistes peuvent rester visibles dans l'obscurité et suivre le marquage au sol qui est visible dans l'obscurité. La nuit, cette peinture s'illumine grâce à la lumière recueillie pendant la journée. Elle est due à une entreprise de Bordeaux. Cependant, elle demeure onéreuse, elle est dix fois plus onéreuse que la signalisation traditionnelle. Deux mille Faine par kilomètre. Cet essai a été réalisé en collaboration avec l'association Cadres Colmar, qui s'engage en faveur du vélo et des mobilités douces. Parfois, il est difficile de se repérer même avec de bons éclairages, ce qui est un avantage. « Le résultat est plutôt satisfaisant », se réjouit Éloi Desseigne, membre de l'association. Ce dispositif est désormais étendu par l'association à l'agglomération de Colmar, où il n'existe pas d'éclairage. La municipalité de Colmar encourage également les résidents à donner leur avis sur ce dispositif.
