MBC - The world completes yet another revolution around the sun. As such, the Mundusian government meets to discuss the future of the nation. This nation has seen many improvements in several areas, which have made it noticeable to a large percentage of the world. Crime, homelessness, and violence - even those these are still prominent problems in this nation, they have been subtly decreasing with the coming days. Economic strength, manpower, unity - in contrast to the previously mentioned items, these have been increasing with each coming day. However, this is the present and Mundusia must look forward to the future. 2100 approaches, the turn of a new century in Orbis. There is no telling what could possibly change in the world. The government, indeed, feels the same way. We must look forward for Mundusia, from 2099 and beyond.

New Laws

New laws have been introduced thanks to the Kopington Administration's hard work. The first law introduced is the Calculated Tax for Prices Act. This act will add the tax onto the product to save the consumer from the trouble of having to calculate said tax on a product. It was created after several parties insisted that this tax be "pre-notified" of, as it was troubling for their respective clients or individual selves. Along with this, a thorough government investigation showed that some stores were purposefully charging more than required as part of tax. Of course, these stores were taken down as soon as the investigation ended.

Another law introduced is the Prisoner-Company Beneficial Codes. These laws will allow prisoners more choices to wait out their stay. The primary choice is to sit in jail until the sentence is cleared or bail is paid. The second choice is to be sent to hard labor without pay in order to lessen days in the prisoner's sentence. However, the newly added choice is that prisoners may be allowed to work in establishments, factories, etc. with a minimum pay of 50 cents per day. This newly added choice is designed to help companies that may suffer from underworking. It will also help the prisoners pay for certain items when they are released for jail, as the money gained is put into their respective prison-monitored bank account.

The next law introduced is the Police Confirmation Act. This act will provide law enforcement to proceed with many things without bureaucratic processes holding them back. This act was the most controversial, as the citizenry saw the act as a threat to privacy. However, the government has put a great line in the act as well which prevents from all sorts of privacy being seemingly stripped away. To properly proceed, the law enforcement in question must be absolutely sure that something is of a dangerous quality that could harm the public - as this is what the act was intended to prevent. Failure to properly show evidence that something was off and needed to be stopped within reasonable time will lead to the police officer in question being thrown in jail for a maximum of eight to ten years.

The last law introduced is the Stand Your Ground Law. Previously, it was deemed unnecessary for such a law to exist in Mundusia. However, a number of people who started to complain about being mugged and not being able to do anything about it sparked sympathy within the government. Deciding that something needed to be done, the government enacted this law nationally (it was previously only used in eastern regions). The citizenry is now allowed to shoot on sight during an unlawful altercation that may or may not have a chance of escalating into extremity. If the unlawful aggressor is killed, the shooter should be held at fault as they were simply protecting themselves. Surprisingly, this law has not gained much controversy.

Affairs of the Federation

In the mainland, the populace is happy as can be. Millet and fruits are being grown as usual, with several of the agricultural communes out east seeing developments into possible towns and maybe even cities with the right funding. In the capital, a large reformation of the transport systems is underway with bikes possibly being introduced as an official alternative to cars. In Dakar, beachgoers and foreign visitors enjoy hotels and beaches along with a new festival called the "Mundusiana" which will be available to all for the entirety of the month. More irrigation systems have also been starting development, with the most extensive one being in the Casamance region.

In Madeira, the community has started to recover from two wars in a row. Thanks to the Madeira Islands Fund, farmers have started to regain what they once lost. Some have adapted, however, and started to collectivize together into a bank. Other adapters have started to harvest trees into lumber and possible infrastructure. Remote living has also become a habit for the archipelago's residents. Meanwhile, disease contagions have started to be decontaminated due to Senator actions during the 2nd Mundusian War.

The Mundusian Southwest Carribeans have been returned to with the same exact personnel. They have been suited with hazmat suits to deter possible radiation. If guano production does not return within the next few years or a proper economic factor does not form, the islands will be abandoned yet again.

2100

2100 is closer than ever - the dawn of a new century. We will be leaving behind many memories of the 2000s and look towards a new world. We need not lament on the past to ensure the future, for the future is already ensured by the present. We have witnessed many things this century. The fall of a world, and a rebirth of a world occurring in a century time. It is quite a relic. One must hope so for a future generation, to learn and paint their own image of the past of Orbis.

Anyhow, Mundusia will adapt to the future - whatever it brings. There is a responsibility to ensure it as such. Whether it be the current administration or the next one, the populace will await. Fair tidings.

Sorry for a rather low-quality bulletin. Frankly, it sucks to read (for me at least) - but I needed to get something out. My school had recently just got through testing, so my creativity and mind power just got zapped out of my head. Alr, bye-bye now.
