WESTOTHIA CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

In Westothia, Christmas in Orbis is a time of great celebration and joy, marked by a blend of traditional customs and modern festivities. The picturesque landscapes of this nation come alive with vibrant decorations, twinkling lights, and the sweet melodies of carolers echoing through the streets. Families gather around elaborately adorned Christmas trees, exchanging gifts and sharing in the spirit of togetherness. Churches hold special services, where worshippers come together to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. From bustling city squares to quaint villages, the air is filled with anticipation and goodwill during this magical time of year.

One of the most anticipated events during the Christmas season in Westothia is the annual military march parade held in the capital city. This grand spectacle showcases the strength, discipline, and unity of the nation's armed forces, while also serving as a symbol of national pride. Months of meticulous preparation culminate in a dazzling display of precision marching, intricate formations, and synchronized maneuvers. Spectators line the streets, waving flags and cheering as soldiers, sailors, and airmen proudly parade through the heart of the city. The parade not only honors the sacrifices and dedication of the military personnel but also fosters a sense of unity and patriotism among citizens.

As the sun sets on Christmas Eve, the streets of the capital city are illuminated by the glow of festive lights, and the sound of drums heralds the beginning of the parade. Led by a band playing traditional Christmas carols, rows of uniformed personnel march with unwavering precision, their movements a testament to their training and dedication. Floats adorned with seasonal decorations follow behind, depicting scenes of peace, goodwill, and the joy of the holiday season. The parade culminates in a stirring display of fireworks lighting up the night sky, casting a sense of wonder and awe over the gathered crowd. For the people of Westothia, the Christmas military march parade is not just a spectacle but a cherished tradition that brings the entire nation together in celebration and unity.

ELECTIONS COMING UP

Four years ago in 2095 was the Westothian Democratic elections against Progressive party leader S.A.R.L President Anthes and up and coming candidate in the conservative party Carson Whindale. It ended with President Anthes winning a third term in office becoming the second longest lasting president of Westothia. The Election will occur at a much later date in April of 2099, sadly this will be President Anthes's last term in office as he plans to be in the Westothian government back as a Senator. The elections system will go as last time with candidates competing their way up to the final elections/debates.

Carson Whindale has become extremely popular among Westothian conservatives hoping that he will save the country into "new endeavors". While a new candidate Vivek Sendall has become popular with westothian liberals who believe that Westothia should "liberalize more" like legalizing abortions which has still become a recent hot topic.

As for who will win it is not clear, will the progressive liberal Westothians win or the Conservatives win.
