Millions Face Starvation After Transportation Collapse and Crop Failure

Five months after the nuclear war between the Soviet Federation and the United Imperium have past, and millions within Williamsbourg face starvation after a very poor harvest due to widespread crop failure caused by the nuclear fallout. On top of that, the transportation systems within the country have collapsed due to warfare between factions preventing the little food the country has, as well as any food imported from other countries from reaching people. 

This famine could kill millions of people. In addition the food shortages, as well as civil war, violent crime, and disease have caused many to flee the country. The government doesn't have an accurate number for how many refugees have fled the country as the central government is still trying to restore order within the country, but combined with the high death toll from the fallout, civil war, disease, and the inevitable famine will cause a population crisis for the country.
