Candidate Gregor Victor and his 2 opposition candidates Leila Maryann; a left wing member of the Workers Way Forward party (WWF), and Davis Barren (Bread); current Colonel and President of Cartainaige from center leaning member of the Central Stars Unitary Party (CSU), are the leading standing candidates for Cartainaige’s presidential campaigns. After Bread has won 3 terms for President, and currently running for 4th term, voting support has drastically drained for Bread and the rest of CSUs members after his policies stagnated the economy throughout his 3rd term through unprofitable raids and overspending on projects caused downturn for the nation. The leading cause for Victor’s Party currently winning the polls in the elections is the new direction he and his party want to take for Cartainaige by reforming it’s economy and promise to reverse some mistakes of the Bread Administration. The current election standings hold Victor in the lead with a 54% of votes and is suggesting to increase over time, Leila Maryann, currently lagging far behind in 2nd place with only 28% of the current standing votes as her visions for the nation is greatly overshadowed by Victor’s Promises in the race and Barren only holding 13% of the votes in 3rd place for his public opinion of the nation that of a fraction Pre-Global War. With the projected win if current trends continue for Gregor Victor, his economic plans could also reshape the political landscape inside Cartainaige as part of his new plan as winning people’s trust in the elections would be his first step to completely win back trust between the people and the government going towards the newly 22nd century of the Orbis Realm.
