In pursuit of the Democratic Juche style of Socialism, the Glorious Premier Tiberius visited the ground-breaking site of a new expansion of Novogo Rima on September 6th, 2098. The expansion is part of the Premier's new plan to make Novogo Rima into a World Class City, and create the grandest metropolitan area in the history of our world.
At the ground-breaking ceremony were leading members of the Party, as well as leaders of the Revolutionary People's Army, who's soldiers will be tasked with the construction of these new extensions.
Included in the plans are over 10,000 new appartments, in a system of nearly 700 complexes, which will provide modern, state-of-the-art living conditions for the people of Novogo Rima. The region will also include new shopping centers to provide for the people's needs, parks for their leisure, and industry to expand the economy of the capital region.
At the ceremony, as Premier Tiberius stepped out of his newly-acquired limousine, the crowd waiting for him roared forth cheers of "Hurrah!" all the way as the Glorious Premier made his way to the stage.
After a short introduction speech by the local head manager of the construction project, the Premier gave a historic speech, in which he dedicated this project expressly to the people of the capital city, and how it demonstrated the new rapidly-progressing era of Rimskayan Socialism under the Democratic Juche idea.
The Premier was sure not to take too much time, as he wanted to ensure work on the new expansion begin as quickly as possible, with the deadline set for the turn of the century, a mere 15 months away:
"Comrades. Soldiers and captains. Today is the beginning of a new era of development in this region of Rimskaya. You are tasked with a great step in the progress of our revolutionary state, and her prowess on this planet's surface.
Your fighting here as the Revolutionary Army may be in the books of history, but your work here will be felt in the present for all eternity, I believe. We are standing now on the shoulders of great geniuses and giants. We must ensure that by doing so, we eventually reach their height, then beyond, in our vigourous pursuit of the stars.
As I stand here before you all, I recall the great wishes of the Commissar Maximus, who dedicated ferociously his whole life to the prosperity of the people, and defense of the state from those who want to see her crumble and submit. Your resolve and strength has not been in vain, and now it is the reason we can stand here today and make this leap forward into the future.
The revolution is not just the battlefield of bullets and artillery. It is a battle of wisdom, of prowess, and of ideas. And therefore, the progress you make here in these coming months is by all means equatable to the progress you could make by gaining great lengths of land in a war.
Soldiers, as we begin this new journey, let us resolve to only look back on the past as a way of seeing how far we have come. Let us then look purely to the future, as the infinite and almighty goal, to ascend Rimskaya into the realm of legends!
As the Glorious Premier Tiberius left the podium, the crowd of proud Rimskayan soldiers erupted once more into cries of "Hurrah!", showing great pride to have the honor of this project as their work and service to the Leader.
The Premier then stepped forward, with the other leaders of management at his side, and together, all those at the side of the Premier dove their shovels into the ground, and the Premier pressed the detonation button to explode the dynamite behind in the fields as the opening step in the construction. The happiness and exictement of the crowd only grew, and as the Glorious Premier stepped back into his limousine, he waved once more to the soldiers, and went off as the work on the expansion at once commenced.
Eternal Glory to the Glorious Premier Tiberius Democraticus, who shall build Novogo Rima into the city of legends and the capital of the Revolutionary Socialist World!
