Power is Finally Restored

The nuclear reactors in the cities of Williamsbourg, Odsa, and Petersberg are finally back online after a month of being inactive following the collapse of the country after the nuclear attacks on the Soviet Federation. Soon after the power was restored, telecommunications were also back online, and Ivan Rusnak gave an address on TV and radio to reassure the country that the military will bring everything under control, and restore order to the country. He also reminded everyone of the new conscription law requiring every able-bodied person aged 18-45 to enlist in the military until the current crisis is resolved.

Now that power has been restored, hospitals can finally open back up, and people can get treatment outside of the relief camps set up by the military. Due to very high demand, hospitals will only accept patients with life-threatening conditions; people with nonlife-threatening conditions should seek treatment at the relief camps, which will remain opened to help ease the burden on hospitals.

With power restored, the government will now focus on restoring order to the country. The government has begun to reorganize the police force to crack down on looting, murder, and other crimes that surged after the collapse; they have even tried to recruit some of the vigilante groups that formed following the collapse. Apart from the major cities that the military kept control of, most of the country remains under the control of militant groups such as The Iron Legion, and The United Workers' Front, and so the military will soon begin a campaign to retake these areas.
