Operation: New Rule

Following the succession of East Lithuania and Latvia states from the Russian Empire, many new challenges have arisen for the nation. From nuclear radiation, to the navy and worst of which, Soviet-Sympathisers who still to this day live in the Belarusian-Baltics.

To combat this, systematic killings, arrests and deportation of known Baltic Communists have begun, with exiles and executions of previous Soviet governors and government members in the region. Some 50,000 have been arrested, 4,000 executed, and 6,000 exiled. Here are some more important members of the previous rule and what happened to them.

(shout out to Tang for this idea)

A new Governor-General, who acts below both the Duke/Prince of each respective region, has been put in place. Ex-Assemblyman Lord Anton Andrew Navumčyk has been put in place of Governor-General of Latvia. Rumour has it that the only reason Lord Navumčyk was chosen to rule over the Grand Duchy of Riga in the first place was following a nice donation to the government just before the American-Soviet nuclear war. He is also a known Belarusian fascist and is known for his controversial opinions on the Soviet Federation, as well as the FSSR and other minority groups.

Soviet tech found in Baltic states

Following the fall of the Soviet Federation and the succession of Latvia and Eastern Lithuania to Belarus, much of Soviet land, air and even a few navy assets are still in the nation. The government has been in a rush to take these assets, giving the nation much better technology.

While most has been sold off to foreign nations, vehicles such as the T-95 Hunton MBT, BMP-11 APC, IS-26 MBT and jets like the TU-44 Firefly, ZU-56 Lighting Bolt have all been kept. Ships such as the Minsk Class Helicarrier, Arkhangelsk Class Cruiser, Kiev Class Destroyer and the Ural Class Destroyer have all been taken from the nation and given to the Belarusian Royal Navy.

Speaking of the Belarusian Navy, ex-Soviet Rear Admiral Denikin Luchok Timofeyevich has become the first Admiral of the Belarusian navy. With years of experience under his many military awards, Admiral Timofeyevich has been seen as ‘trusted enough’ by the IIBB. The government has enlisted some 5,000 men, mostly ex-Soviet sailors and the like, to the Navy.
