After the aftermath of the nuking by the Soviet Federation against The United Imperium and the JGP. The Federal States of Novist has found itself in the middle of what we can call hell. After more than a week, the nuclear fallout shelters and vaults far away from the nuclear explosions have been opened. Some citizens said that nothing had changed and that it was getting colder, some said that there were no nuclear explosions and that it was a drill conducted by the government to see how fast we could get to the nearest fallout shelter. But they were partially wrong, it is true that there were no nuclear detonations in the Federal States of Novist but it wasn't the same for the rest. From what we know is that, a few hours after the declaration of independence, the Novistian Missile Forces were been put on high alert and that the Ashland Radar Network (ARN) was working at full power, until an nationwide emergency broadcast from the Government was made and it asked all the citizens to evacuate to the nearest fallout shelter and to wait for the next broadcast. The emergency broadcast continued until a nationwide blackout happened, some say it was caused by the Ashland Radar Network (ARN) working at full power but it wasn't, after the first few detonations, the ARN suffered extensive damages from working at full power and to keep it from being completely destroyed the nation decided to cut all power around the nation to save it, but the real cause is still unknown but in July 26 the power came back. Some reports say that our neighbor in the west, Nova Cyberia was spared by the nukes, which wasn't a big surprise as they declared independence a few hours before we did and the same for Kolakia. The Novistian Military under the command of the highest ranking officer, have commenced rescue missions on the cities near the affected nations from the nuclear missiles. From what we were told by some officers is that they don't have no contact with the Government or the President, which some said that the capital was destroyed but from we some helicopter pilots sent to the capital to determine if the capital was nuked, they said that it wasn't and that it was still intact aside a few skyscrapers that had fallen down, but they say that something might have happened since they have no contact with them, so by default they put the highest ranking officer in charge of the army and the highest ranking government official in charge of the provisional government which right now is the Minister of National Security and Intelligence, Martin Kennedy, has been give the title of the Provisional President. By order of the Provisional President, he said that they have to start and ask for help to rebuild and save as many people as possible before the winds start to blow at them and send the radiation to them. The Provisional President has confirmed that there will be help coming from the Johore Darul Takzim and by the Sedrosian Empire. He said that we will be sending half a million citizens to Johore, he said that it will take around four months to be completed and he says that they might house more citizens if they are available/capable to hold them. From the Serdosian Empire, the Provisional President said that they will be sending radiation clean up crews and the gear needed for this massive operation. So far this is what we currently know, for everyone that are still in the fallout shelters which are near nations affected by the nuclear detonations, it is advised to stay inside the vaults and not come outside until further notice. |
