MUNDUSIA ONLINE HOME | NATIONAL - REGIONAL - INTERNATIONAL | OPINION - SCIENCE - MILITARY - CULTURE Mundusia Receives Aid Worldwide Incoming money has been used to create "AidPacks" for those who were affected by the war and also rebuild infrastructure. The 2nd Mundusian War has ended, and with it - peace. However, it has also brought great destruction to Mundusia. In southern Mundusia, villages and towns are attempting to recuperate with losses of agriculture. In the north, large rubble lays rampant on the streets - preventing road travel - and skyscrapers that once towered towards the skies are now flattened to a mere 30 stories or less. This is all not mentioning the casualties from the war, as families try their best to cope with their reality. Thankfully, however, aid has been delivered from all over the world. Most notably, from Raritania and Thailand. This monetary aid has been critical in rebuilding the nation. Humanitarian missions have also been started to help Mundusia become not only rebuilt, but better than before. The army is to cooperate with them as well. This will most likely bring miracles to Mundusia, along with prosperity and strength. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Army To Stay At 215,000 A member of the 33rd Terrain Brigade flying over the savannah.
Via orders by President Kopington, the army will not decrease back to the original 135,000 troops. Instead, it will stay at 215,000 which are, or were, the usual wartime numbers. This was against the wishes of most families, as they were expecting their relatives' return. Many are demanding an explanation from the government and from the Defense Minister himself. Here is what he had to say: "We have decided to keep the army mobilized as such due to rising global tensions. Along with this, some form of deterrence is needed to keep away enemies. We have crossed off WMDs and anything like the sort. Guaranteed independence would be good, but our reputation could be formed as a bootlicker. Therefore, a strong and independent army was settled on. We're sorry for the inconvenience and will supply families and troops with benefits accordingly." The thought of it has unnerved some, but most have greatly appreciated these benefits. Civilian Korps have also been announced to be included in these benefits, since they are technically part of the army. After this was publicly announced, the number of personnel in the Civilian Korps rose by 50%. This sudden rise is expected to most likely create engineering swiftness and scientific development. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anti-West, East, Sentiments Rise Police respond to a scene of an impending protest. It is unknown why the fire was started. Anti-Western and Anti-Eastern sentiments have risen across Mundusia after the conclusion of the war. Many non-state-sponsored propaganda posters have seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Along with all of this, the discrimination rate has risen immensely in the passing day with Soviet, Kolakian, and Raritanian people being most notably hated. Many attacks have been carried out against these people in under one week. Targeted arson, theft, assault, and harassment have increased tremendously as such. Some police have even started to arrest these people indiscriminately. Protests have also been popular as of late demanding that deportation be implemented alongside a set of countries banned from immigration to Mundusia. The government has since asked these protestors and criminals to stop their actions. No response by these protestors, who have organized into a sort of workers union, has been given yet. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Kingdom of Gwynedd would like to invite Mundasian businesses to the isle for economic purposes.
Have fun building new airports, factories, military bases, and airbases after I leveled them with ground after 2.5 weeks of non-stop bombing.
