The Forge Relinquishes Control Of Greenland Territory

THE FORGE RELINQUISHES CONTROL OF GREENLAND TERRITORY

Amid a massive spike in violent crime and increased economic disparity, many voices in The Forge's Greenland territory have begun calling for an organized government to take control. For this reason, Eric Reynolds has relinquished control of his Greenland land to a rising group known as the National Conservative Party, which has in turn instated a new government and turned the land into an official nation. 

To continue holding MDPs, ODPs, and Protectorate treaties, and to provide the young government with a new source of income, Eric Reynolds has made the decision to federalize The Forge, making it a government entity. Mr. Reynolds will continue to be CEO of The Forge, and will serve as the chief of staff for the armed forces under President Phoenix Hayes, a 36 year old politician in the National Conservative Party, and a war hero.

As part of his plan to bring the Republic Of Greenland to dominance, he has outlined the following goals/laws for his administration:

• Mostly unrestricted firearms access for citizens (automatic weapons legalized) with mental health checkups and plenty of training.
• Freedom of speech (not including threats against the government)
• Marriage equality and gay rights (however, transgenderism will be outlawed and public celebrations of any sexuality, wether it be gay or straight, are outlawed)
• Banning abortion nationwide
• Restricting the reproductive rights of those with serious inheritable disorders or diseases, such as down syndrome, for the sake of children who would otherwise be forced with the burden of living with those disorders. The people this bill affects will still be allowed to adopt children.
• Lowering taxes.
• "Starship Troopers" democracy in which citizens must have 4 years of military service to be able to vote.
• Strengthening the national military.
• Providing free or discounted healthcare for certain individuals who are less fortunate, and allowing those with more money to buy better healthcare.
• End illegal immigration.
• End drug use/trafficking and criminalize marijuana.
• Provide equitable job opportunities for the less fortunate
• Increase literacy and vaccination rates nationwide 
• Purge any sort of corruption

These are just some of the many things promised by President Hayes, who already has an approval rating of 74.3%. As of right now, there are several parties that make up the Senate's 235 seats, which is directly below the president.

• National Conservative Party - 127 seats
• Liberal Party - 53 seats
• Nationalist Party - 20 seats
• Libertarian Party - 14 seats
• Socialist Party - 11 seats 
• Moderate Party - 5 seats
• Revolutionary Party - 5 seats

For context, the Revolutionary Party is a far left communist/Marxist movement that many consider to be violent extremists. 

Furthermore, thanks to a deal with Victoria, the RoG now has plenty of vehicles, planes and ships to match it's 100,000-man army. The Forge will be continuing weapons and gear production, though most profits will now belong to the government. The Forge has also been granted permission to work as a PMC should they so choose, as an addition to being Greenland's premiere weapons company.
