Uniting India, since 2092
22nd March 2098 (International Edition)
Elections In The Union |
After the delay of the elections, the Union of India has continued them. The first elections the country is going through has seen many gatherings of people promoting the party they support. Candidates have been making speeches as well as debating. Many are making promises such as the Central Lokaantrik Party which is a Liberal Party supporting having a large Global Presence and becoming a Superpower. But most parties are aligned with making actions that affect internal affairs. The elections are slowly coming to an end with more member states' seats being elected. For example, the Greater Indian Republic's elections, who has a share of 160 seats in Parliament, have winded up. |
New Member States |
The nation has welcomed two new member states which are Hashemites and Chola. Hashemites now controls Harmozgan, Iranian Baluchistan, Pakistani Baluchistan, Pakistani Punjab, Ladakh and Kashmir. Chola owns the territories of Sind and Gujarat. Map of Member States The Union is pleased to diversify and welcome more members that can contribute to the nation's wealth. |
Pledge Of Neutrality |
The Union of India has recently explicitly come out and declared that it is non-aligned. It does not side with any one country or alliance. The Union of India shall be allies with both the Soviet Federation and The United Imperium. The Union shall not be influenced by any nation and will not be involved in any unnecessary wars unless it directly affects them. This announcement will definitely shape the future of the nation and decide how India will continue in its external affairs. |

Oh Hashemites has the Andaman Islands aswell
No he does not it was a map mistake. Sorry. Actually Andaman Islands are not owned by anyone only the Union.
? I thought it was owned by Nebel cause Zulli rerolled so the previously jointly-owned territory between the two would be Nebel's. Oh well. Anyways thx
No Nebel doesn’t own it anymore. We agreed to make it a Union Territory. But thanks.
I must say — you captured The Union Gazette exactly like Bruhsam intended. Even down to the news boxes and headlines. I can only hope that the Union of India shall last longer than the Republic of India.
Thank you! I wish the same, I really want the Union of India to be unified as always and not be a hellscape of arguments.
