Section III

The Judicial power of the Norden Republic shall be vested in the Judicial council. The judges of the council shall be compensated for their services from Norden Republic’s treasury. This compensation shall not be diminished in each of the judges' time of service.


 

Subsection III.I

The Judicial Council shall have the authority judge according to the law in all cases in law and equity in this constitution, the law of the Norden Republic, and treaties, made or which shall be made, under their authority, Inquiries of public officials, Presidents, Marshals, Military and Civil Cabinet members. To all cases concerning the Nördliche Streitkräfte and maritime affairs, any case in which the Norden Republic shall a party to, affairs between 2 or more States, Provinces, and regions, between a Citizen(s) and State, Province or Region, between Citizen(s) of another State(s), Province(s) or Region(s), between Citizen(s) of different States, Provinces, Regions, between citizens of the same State(s)Province(s) Region(s) claiming land under grants(and other States, Provinces, Regions) between State(s) Province(s), Region(s) and Citizen(s) and concerning it’s dominions.


 

Subsection III.II

In all inquiries of Public Officials(Presidents, Marshalls, Ministers et cetera) The Judicial Council shall hold jurisdiction.

The trial for all crimes, with the exception of an Inquiry there shall be a jury. And in Such cases the trial shall take place in the State, Province, and or Region in which said crime(s) took place. If a crime was committed in several States said offenders will face a trial, where the Versammlung deems appropriate.


 

Subsection III.III

If a person(s) commits a crime in a foreign country  and its dominion(s) said person(s) shall face trial according to said foreing country’s law.




 

Subsection III.IV

Treason against the Norden Republic shall only mean, waging war against them and it’s States, or protecting its enemies, aiding them and giving said enemies allegiance. No person(s) shall be convicted of treason unless three witnesses confess to the same action in the presence of the Judicial Council.


 

Subsection III.V

Each State shall have a record of its acts, records, and judicial proceedings to be available to the public and other states.


 

Subsection III.VI

Any Person(s) who shall have been charged in any state with a felony, treason or other crime(s) who shall escape justice and be found in another state, shall on the Order of the said State’s judicial and executive authority Return to the State where he or she had committed said crime(s), Felon(s) and or Treason(s)


 

Section IV

New States added to the Norden Republic by the approval of the Versammlung. New States may be formed in the Jurisdiction of another if the majority vote on a plebiscite on the affirmative, The State’s Versammlung’s ⅔ vote on the Affirmative and a ⅔ approval vote  of the Federal Versammlung. At all said meetings in their respective jurisdictions, at least ¾ of the members must be present to vote on the issue.

 

Subsection IV.I

No State Shall merge unless it was a State formed by the previous action, and this be the case, said merger state shall only be allowed to merge into its original state.

The Versammlung shall have the Power to dissolve and make all needful regulations and rules concerning  the territory, property and jurisdiction of the Norden Republic. 


 

Section V

The Norden Republic shall ensure that every State in the Norden Republic, A Parliamentary Republic Government, and shall protect each state against invasion and if the Versammlung deems necessary or the President(in the event that the Versammlung can not convene) against domestic violence.


 

Section VI

All treaties made shall be made in favor of the Neutrality of the Norden Republic, if neutrality is impossible, then diplomacy that ensures the autonomy of the Norden Republic shall be accepted.



 

Section VII

Parliamentarians, Members of the Judicial Council, and The Executives, shall be bound by oath to support this Constitution.


 

The Ratification of this Constitution shall take place in Oslo, in which at the time of writing the 7 seven Republics Shall be in unity.
