      The Jyu, Unknown location

Narishima sighs as she paces the bridge, embarrassed about how she acted infront of her crew. She rubs her face a little and sighs. “Tactical, anything on radar?” “Nothing to see, skipper.” She looks around the room, noticing the painted over Japanese Isles symbols and the scars that only happen from railgun fire against a ship. “Jyu’s never been in a battle, isn’t that right Attaché Laila?” She gives a glance at the woman who less then an hour ago, she fought. “Ahem, Attaché Laila, focus.” “Lemme drink my ice coffee in peace, authoritarian.” The bridge crew that’s not the Captain or Laila look at each other, trying to ignore their raised hackles. “Ma’ams, unknown radar contact from North Northeast.” “Let me handle this.” Laila stands up and picks up the radio, shoving the operator aside. “Unidentified vessel, please report your ID and Port of Origin.” A confused Japanese voice responds “This is AC-407 of the Naval Force of Ajako, homebasing from Aomori, what is your IFF? Your ship is not on the register” “Standby for reference.” Narishima curses quietly. “AC-407, still there?” The vessel’s radio is quiet for a little bit, “Alpha-1, please send IFF codes, you taking a coffee break or something?” “SS Harumaito, 405-121. We’re currently anchored for the crew to take a break.” “Everything checks out, but… isn’t Harumaito 350 meters long? Radar’s estimating you at approximately 430ish.” “We resized it on radar to keep African pirates at bay.” “This is the Tsugaru Strait, you don’t need to worry about pirates, Harumaito.” Narishima gives a clear stare at the weapons officers, telling them to prepare missiles and railguns, just in case. “I know. The decoys don’t take a lot of power and who knows what the Koreans are up to next so we just keep them up all the time.”  “The Ajakon Confederal Costal Defense Fleet is more than capable of defending the strait, we will be surfacing to search the Harumaito, understood?” Laila sighs. “Understood.” She walks up to the radar and changes frequencies to Ajakon MilCom, then quickly uses a voice amplifier. “AC-407, please respond.” “This is AC-407, what’s wrong, MilCom?” “You’re currently needed at Mutsu. We have strong intel on smugglers using the port to supply a leftover Yakuza faction. You’re the closest ship. Take a look.” “Roger that, going there at 70 knots.” AC-407 appears on radar like a spotlight, shooting off at high speeds. Narishima looks at Laila appreciatively, “Good job, You handled that well.” “I suggest relocating before they realise how dumb they are.” Narishima nods and starts ordering people around while Laila sits back down and attends to her Ice coffee. Narishima gets a live video call from Jyu himself, requesting her and Laila to be in a private conference room. “Laila, his ‘highness’ wants us in a conference room.” Narishima leaves the bridge. Laila follows, being audibly annoyed. “Captain Narishima, Miss Wanatabe.” “Your Highness?” Laila gives a deep bow. Narishima curtsies a little, still awful at it and looking like she doesn’t really mean it. “I have discovered where the ACTRC is located, It is a massive research facility and airbase in and possibly around Mount Kaikoma. I want your ship to bombard the mountain and make it look like a collapse of the supports and stuff. If we are able to, the destruction of the ACTRC would completely cut the head off of Ajako’s research centers. The coordinates have been transmitted. Use bunkerbuster missiles against the mountain, try to have them detonate at the base.” Narishima’s mouth is agape, as she’s only ever heard of the ACTRC. “Of course your highness.” Narishima is in shock. She leaves the room after bowing with Laila following so she can prepare the Jyu for the first time it will fire its weapons in anger. “I’ll handle the missile calculation.” Laila says. “Have your weapons officer make sure the AA systems work.” “Alright, I’m going to have to plan for the ACCDF going after us right after we fire.”  “Try to not get us all killed, please.” “No promises.” Narishima leaves Laila to her own devices. Laila walks up to the console and sets the missiles on a path that is close to perfection but then changes the numbers slightly as a ‘recalculation’. Narishima barks an order and the ship shudders as 36 cruise missiles launch from its VLS systems. They fly into the sky, harbingers of hell. As they fly, Ajakon missile defense systems go on high alert, but can’t do anything, as the missiles are in a jamming stage that Ajakons have put on their newest missiles. Airbase Kaikoma intercepts around half of the bunker busters since they have AALPs, but that leaves 19 missiles to hit and sink into the mountain.

I yelp in fear as I hear alarms go off all across the base, what the h*ll is going on?.... I run to Noruma’s room and grab Noruma, “Noruma, calm down, we need to get Dr Iris, I h-have no clue what’s going on!” I try to regulate my breathing, but I can feel a slight panic attack coming on. I see Iris, “Dr, what’s going on- EEK” HOLY- I- yikes… I heard explosions from outside. “Well,-” she looks at Noruma. “If you could stop shaking her please?” I stop shaking Noruma who looks like she’s lost all sense of orientation. “What do we- eep!” The mountain shook dangerously. “Logical conclusion would suggest an attack.” I interface with the sensors outs- Did I just connect with military tech? I turn the AALP system in it’s socket. Oh it’s badl.. “Alright, I have an outside connecting, we’re being bombarded by bunker busters. 30ish of them. I have a connection to one of the AALP systems in that Airbase down there.” “You hijacked Military systems? Ah, nevermind. Let’s get to the safe room first.” EEEEEEEEEK “First strike- uhhh- it hit the saferooms, should we just evacuate?” “In this case just move as far inside as possible.” I grab Noruma’s sharky anda couple of my own before running deeper into the mountain. I see Iris grab the rest as well as her labcoat and some medicine and first aid tools. The mountain rumbles and all the lights go out for a few minutes. “IRIS WHAT THE-” The lights flicker back on, but in red and pale white, the emergency lights. “What happened…” The chaos continues, and I try to use the AALP to shoot down a couple missiles. It is really efficient at its job, huh. OH SH- An explosion rocks the room and everything goes dark.
