𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐋𝐏 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬

As reported in our last edition, the Colonial Militia Command had a meeting to discuss further action against the ILP. They decided to declare one final assault on an ILP supporter state that had a bounty on their destruction. Due to both of our mutual goals with this anonymous person, the Militia Command proposed the plan, and it was approved by the Lord-Governor. The war was swift with few casualties and the bounty was claimed and used to better the Colonies, leaving ILP forces there weak.

The Colonial Parliament held a session and voted to withdraw Militia forces from all current ILP holdings, and the Militia Command approved. All militiamen deployed over seas are now being brought home. Avalloc la Fey, member of the Colonial Parliament, and supporter of the Royal Party had this to say:

“The withdrawal of our troops is a mercy upon their people, though a temporary one. As we will immediately begin to work with Field Marshal Marwar, to have our militiamen patrolling the border & expanding the reach of the Colonies. We have already received a report from Space Chief Luctor of several potential places that we can quickly expand to and beginning construction on a new colony.”

𝐔𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐢-𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐧𝐮𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫

A short while ago, Sir Vortimer, CEO of Urani-Corp, demanded a duel against Sir Howel, the Director of the nuclear power plant in the colony of Hydra. Sir Vortimer demanded this duel to restore his honor after Sir Howel made a comment about his business practice due to the price of uranium becoming more expensive. According to Sir Vortimer, Sir Howel called him a crook due to increasing the prices. Sir Vortimer claims that the price increase was due to a large chunk of his native citizen work force joining the Militia, and cost of the recent changes in Colonial Parliamentary policy by starting a uranium enrichment program.

Sir Howel accepted the challenge, and by Manticoren custom was allowed to have the reason of the duel posted in the news. The duel is set to happen next Wednesday, and go through the Dreyfus Protocol. Under this protocol the two duelists pistol’s magazines will be loaded with only five rounds, walk thirty paces apart, and take turns shooting until they run out of bullets or first blood is drawn.

This duel is a notable mark in the Orbis Colonies history by being the first duel to ever take place in the Colonies. The results of this duel will be posted in our next edition.

Under the orders of Colonial Field Marshal Marwar, Militiamen assaulted a city called memn, along with other places near it. Another member of Blackwater counter attacked, and has been on the offensive raiding the Colonies. The returning Militia forces were quickly rallied, with the Planetary Space Force bombing hostile outposts, and our ground forces are preparing to counter attack on the invaders soon.

The Lord-Governor has stated that we will not lose this fight and will push the invaders out of colonial territory. However he advises any native citizens & colonists living near potential raid targets like Militia garrisons or warehouses to evacuate due to the threat of attack on those places being likely. For the safety of yourself and others, camps have been set up outside of high danger colonies for temporarily displaced citizens and colonists, the Lord-Governor’s Office has also promised compensation for all displaced colonists if any damage is done to their homes.
