President announces Neyipitoya’s first population census

Last evening, The President had a meeting with his cabinet to discuss how many citizens are there in the country, considering the recent annexation of Northern Laos and all of its possible bureaucratic hurdles. The President expressed great optimism about the census, saying “It’s absolutely essential for the state to know how many citizens are in the country and estimate the amount of possible tax revenue collected so as to be able to develop our union to be stronger and better than before.” As a note the Laotian territories of Neyipitoya would be administered by the Vientiane Municipality before a referendum is held on the issue of regionhood and/or statehood in the unincorporated territories of Laos.
