On the 23th of May, President Lincoln officially opened the United Subway Corporation's first station in Bradyia. It is the first of it's kind in the United Imperium. As far back as January of 2067, the market took a downward turn, with the nation's economy but two-thirds of what it once was pre-Carolina at the low point. Despite attempts to resuscitate the market, things were looking dark for the nation's people. Then, last March, the President announced an unprecedented compromise with the Unitarian and Liberal Parties, which incorporated less military spending, and more monies going into clean energy and transport, as well as the tourism industry, and a classified project rumored to be in the works. Libertarian party members and the three Progressive Party Legislators were not happy with the bill, while Conservatives were largely neutral. However, the bill appears to have been a tremendous success, and the average citizen has reported an improvement in life because of the new bill, per a Gallup Poll (29% of citizens reported a large improvement, while 41% reported some kind of improvement that wasn't large). As the nation celebrates the end of the crisis, President Lincoln congratulated the nation, while hinting at some kind of secret project. Will it be a Freedom to Buy Act, or Foreign Raids Initiative.
