23,000 protesters were killed by soldiers in Central Minsk Square by the 2nd Infantry battalion. The workers' protest, led by Alyaksandr Kryžanoušski, a famous and heavily supported union leader, were peacefully protesting for better wages, better regulation in working conditions, lower work times, and better benefits. The government has blamed Kryžanoušski for instating ‘possibly treasonous words against the Tsar’ and reports have proved that many of these protesters were indeed carrying weapons such as old hunting rifles and bats. A video of Mr. Kryžanoušskis passionate speech was record, here is a short glimpse of what he said;

“Far too long has the wrench of the Tsar and his corrupt disciples and dogs plagued the nation's honour, and far too long has the lie of the Tsar's Godly nature ruled the country! I say NO MORE! I say we, as people of our motherland, gather, and fight against the pigs and !@#$ that rule over us like a tower! LONG LIVE THE REPUBLIC”

Major-General Henry Paulistvka, who is currently in the Netherlands waiting for a crimes against humanity case, stated that 2 protesters with guns began to shoot at military police that were stationed near the area, and the Strvka had ordered him and his men to move tanks and soldiers into the area. This enraged protesters, and a skirmish began between the armed protesters and the soldiers, resulting in 20 dead and a tank being lit on fire, and then exploded. His cause then states that chaos was made and fire fights between rioters who had stolen guns of the soldiers who had perished from the explosion, and began to have a firefight with soldiers. This was eventually stopped following the deployment of the GEDO and Soviet peacekeepers within the nation.

Other reports state that Major-General Paulistvka had, on the command of the Strvka, to the area. The explosion was the result of Maj Gen Paulistvka ordering his men to light up old dynamite which he would use as a reason to attack protestors. All in all, 42,000 protesters out of 100,000 passed, and 1,221 soldiers fell, with millions in damages.

The Strvka and the government  is currently in heat from fellow GEDO members, neighbours and even the people, charities and organisations. The Tsar has yet to make a comment on the matter. Hundreds of thousands mourn the death of the protesters and soldiers who passed.
