The Goal of Net Neutrality is a noble goal for many nations that can be hard for them to achieve. For developing nations, it can be difficult to build your economy while maintaining carbon neutrality without the expense of hurting your nation in the global marketplace. The stagnation with advancement in technology in order to help create a carbon neutral economy falls short due to Wars, famines, lack of funds and much more. The Future age that a lot of people throughout Orbis believed and hoped for did not happen, with few nations only break away from the norm and reach the expectations. Those nations tend to be much richer and the resources to be richer and developed. A lot of nations are developing due to the lack of industry and the focus on mining and farmer to help reach the demands for the develop nations. The Capitalist mode of production is the most popular system throughout the world that focuses on profit over people, which includes negative environmental effects. Socialist nations tend to try to be net neutral but can’t do it when they are small and not devoloped enough, but the Pocono Socialist Republic (PSR) is on track to be Carbon Neutral by next year.

The PSR has a long nation of facing adversities and other challenges that affected the advancement, and a very existence of the nation itself. Through these challenges, the people have come together with their minds and their will to push through these and overcome them. The explosive of population and size of the nation came as a shock to the people of the Orbis. But leaders and the people weee able to seen this coming. The PSR prides themselves on being called the “Inteligencia proletarian center of the world” They pride themselves of being a safe haven for intellectual globally being persecuted for their leftist beliefs. The worker councils across the country helps create a political engage working class that helps creates a better democracy and more accountability to their national government compared that to bourgeois democracies. The people are the main power source of the government, and they wre concern with the environment especially with mining in the region. They work on using electric only work vehicles while mining. As gas power cars are almost completely banned in the country except for certain cases like Racing, Historical significant Cars, and very few Hybrids. They also have an on the site water treatment plant to deal with the pollution that can seep in the local water supply. The PSR is also supporting the The recycling industry with buying junk from across Orbis and are able to reuse most of the parts and materials to creat something else. This helps reduce the need to mine in the nation while also trying to gain a massive influence in a untapped global market.

The PSR understood that a car centric infrastructure is inherently very costly and damaging for the environment and the people that live in it. Highways are expensive and polluting to maintain and build. Cars even electric ones causes CO2 emissions to get the materials to build them while caring less people compared to trains and other forms of public transportation. With the creation of walkable cities that are also called “10 Minute cities” due to the fact that everything a person needs to love and thrive is in a 10 minute distance helped with reducing CO2 since they did not need any polluting forms of transportation.

One of the last major reasons that the PSR is going to go Net neutral is the fact that they have one of the most trees per capita in the world, even in their cities. They have a lot of mountains and other natural areas and habitats that are protected by local and national government. This helps sucks up the few CO2 from the PSR from their atmosphere and some of the worlds as well.

The PSR is making strides in a lot of areas, but this is one of the biggest and most important. Any improvement to the environment in any capacity is very important. They are hope that in decades later the PSR will be one of the biggest Net negative nations in the world as they continue to gain more influence and land. Woody Sinclair, the President says “We have come together, and putting our different beliefs and policy aside, we understand that the PSR and Orbis is a beautiful place and we should protect it at any cost with efficiency with our efforts”
