! [Important context:  "La Nekonataj Teroj" is how Puntans refer to the land in the interior of Antarctica, that Lapunto does not claim.]

The citizens, Gxosx Hoksteter and Kamala Hoksteter are residents of Drejkuxo and are also professors at the local university. Kamala is a professor of Anthropology, but Gxosx is a Geologist. So, Gxosx convinced his wife to join him on an expedition to examine the environment in La Nekonataj Teroj. They traveled from Drejkuxo onto the mainland and then all the way south to Novhxarbino, before they got on a plane to the Olamuseno south pole station. But they were not near the Olamuseno base at the south pole for their final destination They were in the deep interior, far from the coast, pole, or any previously marked settlement. They did though have access to a helicopter, which they did not use in favor of only using it for transportation back to civilization. They were expecting to more or less just make a simple hiking trip and climb so desolate Antarctic mountains, However, they instead found something. They chose a cave to camp in and what they found was a bunker facility, of course behind a panel and a door. As far as they were aware, they did not accidently stumble into a Puntan base, as those normally have a very very large area around them restricted, and this zone enforced by aircraft. So Kamala pressed the button on the control panel, and a man answered in German. Luckily, Gxosx's father was a German who emigrated , so he was capable of understanding. The man asked "What are you doing here?" and Gxosx explained their situation. The man was intrigued and so let them in. They had surprisingly developed infrastructure. When asked what nation they were part of, the people claimed they were soverign and "the last of their kind". Gxosx reported nonsense, as the world had several germans, and these people seemed different in no regard. The citizens of the bunker did not know about Lapunto, but once Lapunto was described to these people, they became hostile. They were saying things like "Jüdische Mischlinge!", and forced them out of the bunker but not before stripping them of their clothes. Gxosx and Kamala both had no choice other than to make their way to the helicopter and pray that they didn't freeze to death. They both traveled 6 kilometers in freezing tempertures. They tried to keep each other warm by huddling together. But by the time they got to the helicopter, Gxosx's state was too terrible and he died. Kamala who didn't know how to fly a helicopter very well or use the navigation tools, flew northwest and actually overshot the Puntan mainland, but was intercepted by a plane when flying close to a Puntan aircraft carrier, and radioed a warning. After using her radio to tell her story, she was permitted to land on the LPS Renauxdo. After receiving medical attention, she was swiftly flown back to her home in Drejkuxo, where she wanted to share her story with La Husxa Gazeto. This was just 3 days ago for the woman. She's spent the past few days mourning her husband.
