Topic 1: Marie Vyl's resignation

Shocking news as the Vice President, communist party member Marie Vyl, has officially announced her intentions to resign from her post in government as the essential second in command of the state. Recently the coalition(Between the Nexiren Socialist Party and Nexiren Communist Party)had come under pressure as many members of the party willingly left the government due to its inability to solve the issues around the economy(as they claim the majority NSP held back essential reforms), and in regards to rising radical monsrchism in the country(in relation to the radical Patriots group).

President Nexire Malik has accepted the resignation and quickly filled most of the spots(not including the Vice President), with pressure from the public, with smaller parties members(since the Parliament Decisions Act which allows the president to pick and choose parliament regardless of the political party into a seat). Though the government has gotten a reshuffle, the president labors on as always.

Topic 2: The Five Year plans

In the Gabon Free State territory, under the leadership of João Belo(elected for the first four year term in April 2096), the development of a Five Year plan(which has been a work in progress for more than a year)has been publicly announced. Expected to come into force in September 2097, this plan includes over 50billion Orbis Dollars(80%of the funds have been reportedly gathered from Victorian investments).

Gendamerie Forces(police) on patrol in the capital.

The First two years focuses on expanding the police forces further, with the construction of several more police stations( Around Aranga, Obando, Nzamené, and Bokolo)and recruitment of over 12 000 more police officers(total about 17 000). The First Two years also include the GFS state investing in agricultural businesses(as the Timber industry has seen growth) and local, basic infrastructure.

The last Three Years will focus on advanced infrastructure(such as Highways and Public Transport)and hopefully the development of proper light industries. The Gabon First Army(the national army of Gabon) has been reduced to a volunteer army of ex-police officers and actual military recruits(Due to the recession) of about 20 000 men.

Topics such as Health and Education has followed the status quo for now.

Topic 3: The East

The People's Republic of Nexiren has decided to look towards central and Eastern Europe for allies, due to unwelcome aggression in America, but still holds true to any pacts made with Western nations(such as La Plata and Novist). However the RON officially calls on any and all like-minded nations to set up Embassies and pursue relations with us.
