Economic recession in Belarus slowly dies down as the nation becomes industrialised.

Earlier last year, following years of long and hard global wars and rapid inflation, Orbis saw an economic recession first starting following the fall of the Ajakon and Serdosian economics and stock markets, which Belarus heavily relied on. Following this, and months of weak farming, many began to move away from their villages into major cities to find work in factories. As major immigration to the capital, the City of Minsk, most migrated to Gomel. Due to this, more and more factories produce military surplus, textiles, machinery etc. However, this rapid rural depopulation caused immense rack renting and inflation, and reliance on foreign imports. The 4-year plan was made to;

• Make the nation more self-sufficient: to achieve autarky
• To have a thriving export economy 
• To make a large military surplus 
• To centralise the large agriculture industry 
• To create a large labour force

Thanks to foreign investment from the Americans, Russians and GEDO members, as well as many more jobs and factories being made via a number of economic reforms, the nation has seen some economic prosperity, or at least in comparison to larger nations. While inflation and a lack of jobs still reign and is a huge problem within the nation. However the Belarusian Ruble is now worth OD2.30, a much better comparison to what it was before.  

Belarus ends the MDP and NAP with the Rep of China and shows support for new ally, the Sino-Venezuelan Empire.

The Belarusian high command, under heated debates and influence from our British ally, have decided to make the controversial decision to end our 6-year MDP and NAP with the Republic of China after the unjustified and imperialistic declaration  of war against the Sino-Venezuelan Empire, the successor state to Dreamistan. The high command has also sent the 5th infantry division, 6th infantry division and 7th infantry division totalling around 30,000 well trained men who will be led under Major General Kazimir Janučkievič, Major General Iosif Hryniavicki and Major General Bagumil Harun while Lieutenant General Anton Marcinkievič and 3-star General Tsimon Borushko have been sent to help the Sino-Venezuelan Empire high command lead the war with Lieutenant General Anton Marcinkievič specialising in Guerilla warfare.  

The nation hopes the war ends in a peaceful resolution.
