So back in April, I authored this article:

https://politicsandwar.com/bulletin/id=26824/why-aequitas-isn-t-really-bad-or-wrong

It’s quite surreal to see it come to fruition; almost inhuman… As I was told in the Aequitas chat the other day, it seems my bulletin had a little prophesy in it. In definitely not an attempt to be the prophet of Aequitas’s growth, I have decided to write my thoughts on the flip side of that article.

Perhaps the most contentious topic when it came to Aequitas was the institution of a constitutional government with an elected and non-perpetual leader. Everyone cast their doubts and declarations on whether a system of full democracy could exist in Orbis, a land of strongmen who run their governments. However, through simply the act of existing, the doubters have been proven largely incorrect. I interviewed RoManic, current President of Aequitas, and he had this to say:

“Politically we’ve sophisticated our systems and created a working but more importantly an efficient democracy. We’ve also added a two party system to the mix to encourage people to be active and engaged in politics. A major development is the ones we’ve made economically as many of our nations can tell you. We’ve pushed up our average score from something like 1.5k at the time of your original writing to nearly 3k today. Our score goes up by around 20k every two months or so which is a major improvement from where we used to be.”

Evidently, the routine election of presidents has not been a hindrance to the growth of Aequitas nations. Their constitution also has inevitably been a source of adequate leadership and has allowed the alliance to evolve around the its principles. Considering leadership, it’s evident the people behind the alliance, as you would expect, are competent individuals who have done well for their people. Would an alliance with imbeciles running it be growing into the Top 50? I think not!

Here’s to another meteoric rise Aequitas! I look forward to it!

Would an alliance with imbeciles running it be growing into the Top 50? I think not!

Also, yes. Look at Brotherhood Family or The Golden Horde.

Look at our score chart @fine, only a blind man would say TAI hasn’t experienced exponential growth relative to our growth we were experiencing at the time of the original post that was referenced.

Relative to the rest of the game; not so impressive.

Everyone’s gotta start somewhere we’ve done a great job so far. Give it another year and another bulletin and I’m sure you’re mind will be forced to change. Then again given the blatant disregard for facts by some in relation to TAI I’m hesitant to think it will regardless of what happens.

There's been a dime a dozen alliances with similar growth patterns, although most started off faster and didn't decline as much as TAI recently. And the vast majority still collapsed. You'd think the collapse of your previous protector, Cypher, would humble you to realise that you're hardly ever going to be in a good spot as a micro.

Which is something I completely understand. We’ve yet to place ourselves in the best spot we could be in. However, relative to the our status a year or so ago we’re killing it. I get it we’re not established yet but it’s only motivating us more. I don’t see TAI stopping its roll for a while and if our actual long term growth patterns are anything go off we’ll find ourselves in that top list some day
