In a decisive move to fortify national defense and enhance military capabilities amid growing tensions in the world, The Golden Peoples Republics has implemented mandatory military service for a minimum period of two years and increased investment from the GDP into expanding and modernizing The Golden Peoples Military forces. These very important initiatives show the government’s commitment to protecting socialist homeland and defending its citizens. 

Under the new policy, all eligible citizens of the Golden Peoples Republic’s, reaching the age 18, are now required to enlist for military are now required to enlist for military service for a minimum term of two years. 

This mandatory service is expected significantly boost the the number of active service members in The Golden People’s Armed Forces, as well as boosting reserve forces. 

As well as this new service policy, the government has allocated resources from the GDP to invest in the development and acquisition of military equipment, including tanks, trucks, artillery, small arms, planes for the air force, and naval ships. This increased funding will enable the armed forces to help modernize its arsenal and enhance operational capabilities. 

Minister of Defense, Comrade Erik Larsen, commented on the change in the nation. “By implementing mandatory military service and increasing investment in our nations armed forces, we are bolstering our nation’s ability to defend against external threats and to help defend our Allie’s if the need arises.”

As citizens heed the call to serve their country and the armed forces receive increased support and investment, The Golden Peoples Republics feel safer already knowing that their government is doing everything it can to protect them.
