Commander in chief Aragon I has made an announcement today that the military has been cut to raise the inflow of cash.

When asked in an interview whether there were reasons for this he answered, "The military has gotten too costly for the nation's treasury to pay for, especially after our latest war resulted in mass infrastructural damages. I simply can't keep such a large military and repair and improve the cities. Going forward however, I will be creating a reserve of supplies specifically to raise the military to its maximum power."

When other members of the North Gibralter court were asked about how they felt about the changes, Aragon II the heir to the throne and General of the North Gibralter army  simply said that, "I don't think that Father has the right idea." but didn't care to elaborate.
