In the annals of history, the year 2078 witnessed a transformative moment within the ecclesiastical realm as Pope Pius XII, inspired by a profound dream named "Divina Revelatio Regni," received divine guidance. This revelation, perceived as a sacred communication, directed the Papacy to undertake the monumental task of constructing a New Jerusalem. Within this celestial mandate, the Pope conveyed instructions from YHWH, outlining the re-establishment of the Holy Roman Empire, the establishment of a Kingdom, and the commencement of Holy Modern Crusades.

The term "Praetorian Sanctum" derives its significance from the Pope's visionary experience, amalgamating "Praetorian," historically associated with the esteemed Roman military unit—the Praetorian Guard, and "Sanctum," the Latin term for "sacred," symbolizing the consecrated land under the Holy See's auspices. This sacred realm, known as the Holy Kingdom of Praetoria, signifies the birth of Nova Roma—a visionary reimagining of the Holy Roman Empire.

In 2079, Pope Pius XII entrusted King Van Liempt of Europa with the task of establishing a Holy Kingdom to form the Holy Roman Syndicate, guided by the Holy See. King Van Liempt, in accordance with the Papal decree, laid the foundations of the "New Jerusalem," officially recognized as the Holy Kingdom of Praetoria (Praetorian Sanctum), on grounds sanctified by the Vatican. Concurrently, he instituted the Holy Kingdom of Jerusalem Armed Forces, a revival of the historical Order of the Holy Sepulchre. This historic endeavor marked the birth of Praetoria—a realm forged through the convergence of religious authority and royal edict.

The Praetorian Empire traces its lineage to the venerable Royal Van Liempt bloodline, directly connected to the illustrious Julius Caesar. The establishment of this empire signifies a compelling fusion of ancient heritage and contemporary sovereignty, with the descendants of Caesar's legacy, embodied by the Van Liempt lineage, leading the Holy Kingdom of Praetoria towards grandeur and authority. In 2095, the Holy Kingdom of Praetoria formalized an alliance with the Knights Templar, solidifying its vision for a New Rome, denoted as "Nova Roma."

Guarding the Holy Kingdom of Praetoria is the Holy Kingdom of Jerusalem Armed Forces (HK-AF), a modernized iteration of the Crux Populorum. The inaugural unit, Unit-1096, symbolically echoes the year of the initial crusade into the Holy Land. Financed through territorial conquests and alliances with the Knights Templar, the Kingdom of Praetoria has showcased military prowess, triumphing over adversaries since its inception.
