Britain is officially at war with Uchama. The Western European nation has been convicted of committing a !@#$ on their ethnic Dutch population. To prove our solidarity with the Dutch people, Westminster decided it was necessary to commit a taskforce to overthrow the tyrannical dictator in place. The Prime Minister, Alexander Pendragon, has issued a statement on the situation; “Uchama has wrongfully murdered thousands of innocent civilians, purely based on their ethnicity. As a nation, we will not stand for large scale persecution, especially not on the people of our allies. You can expect the MoD to commit everything in our arsenal to emancipate the population of Uchama.”

It is no secret that Alexander Pendragon harbours a dislike for the nation. This stems from the nation previously betraying the major alliance ‘Red Bloc’. The British populace can expect the British military to do everything in its power to halt Uchama’s !@#$. Scrutiny has been directed at Parliament after they decided to sell Tunisia and Algeria to the nation; James Bennet, the secretary of defence has hinted at re-adopting Algeria into the Empire.

The Mediterranean fleet, the Arabian fleet, the 1st reinforcement fleet and the Marines fleet have been moved to the Western Mediterranean, south of the Balearic islands. Once the fleets reached the rendezvous, they pushed south into Algeria’s maritime borders; the hastily scrambled aircraft and naval ships were no match for the British forces and retreated into safer waters. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd British fleets were moved into the English Channel to deter any Uchamese ships from departing from their drydocks.

Gibraltar launched 75 cruise missiles from silo’s to target any hastily built radar bases, anti-air platforms and any other military bases in Northern Algeria. These strikes provided cover for planes that were to come next and disoriented the enemy.

After the missile strikes, British fighter jets took off from aircraft carriers and Gibraltar air bases, then headed to Algeria. The attack aircraft softened up defences on the coast by destroying bunkers, setting off mines, and destroying tanks. The fighter aircraft flew in front, destroying any hostile aircraft and providing cover fire for the attack aircraft.

Transport aircraft took off from the Bastion aircraft carrier’s, following behind the main body of aircraft. The planes dropped paratroopers along the coast of Algeria; This was done to create confusion among Uchamese defence forces.

Amphibious assault ships escorted British Marines to the coast and attack helicopters provided cover. The Marines attacked Uchamese positions along the beach, while the paratroopers attacked enemy lines from behind, creating two fronts.

Once the beachheads were secured, equipment like armored vehicles, weapons, and supplies were shipped to the shore. Soldiers also arrived on the coast for a second offensive.

After a good portion of the equipment had arrived, Britain's troops pushed north into the coastal provinces and they utilised blitzkrieg tactics to conquer large swathes of land. Some towns and cities, with a large amount of resistance, were encircled.
