Dutch Republic Launches Full Scale Invasion of Uchama | War.

Introduction:

After repeated warnings and treaty violations by the state of Uchama, the Dutch Republic and her allies have decided to take decisive action against this nation which is deadset on wiping out entire ethnic groups. For this reason, a state of war exists between the Dutch Republic and Uchama. The goal is to wipe Uchama out of Europe, and we will not stand down before that goal has been attained.

Army Group A and B have established themselves upon the border with Uchama, launching small skirmishes alongside it. It is currently within defensive positions, ready to take on any hopeless Uchamese assault into the Netherlands. The European Fleet has been brought into combat readiness and is moving in to blockade the Uchamans on the sea, as the airforce is bombing their defense lines. The United Imperium and Sedrosian Empire are moving in reinforcements into the mainland Netherlands. We will not lose this, and we will not stop before the stain that is Uchama is wiped off of Europe.

Military Assets:

"Uchama has provoked us again, probably thinking we'd invade. Well it is right. But what it is not right about is that the Soviet Federation and her allies are going to help it. The targetted killings of ethnic groups have pushed the Soviets to disown Uchama, a decision we as the Dutch Republic wholeheartedly commend. The Soviet civilians which we held hostage with the last threat of ethnic killings by Uchama, are to be returned to their homeland. The Soviet has sent a cruiseship escorted by a cruiser to pick them up in the North Sea, as Uchama can't reach that because of our superior naval strength. As of March 6th, 2096, We are at war with Uchama.

Speaking to the Uchamese directly, you are not the target. You will be protected and spared as much as possible. Find safe places and hide while we come to liberate you from the horrors of Uchamese communism. The Dutch Republic and her American, Sedrosian and British allies will not stop before the people of Uchama are free, and Wallonia and Luxembourg will be reunited with the Dutch Republic. Long live Democracy, Long live Freedom, Long live the Netherlands!"

Battle 1: Operation Thunder.

Dutch aircraft go up in the skies from airfields all over the mainland republic. Air superiority fighters working hard around the clock to attempt to attempt to establish air superiority over Uchamese skies. The operation saw small initial successes because of the unexpected time of the attack, but quickly the operation became a stalemate when the Uchamese airforce began launching aimed operations to counteract. Planned bombings of Uchamese defense lines has to be postponed until air superiority can be re-established fully.

As of right now, the Dutch have lost 6 fighting planes in total, whereas it's Uchamese counterpart has lost 8. Fighting in the skies continues with few breaks, but Dutch morale is higher than ever.

The United Imperium joins the Coalition's efforts from the skies. President Regan has pledged to send over five hundred aircraft from the Imperium's European and Middle Eastern Theater Commands to aid the war effort. These aircraft will perform Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD), Wild Weasel Operations, strikes against Uchamese early-warning assets, air bases, and radar installations, and Combat Air Patrol (CAP) missions in the name of establishing air superiority. In addition, the American Spy Satellite network will aid Coalition intelligence, providing accurate assessments of enemy force size and position in real-time. 

Battle 2: Battle for the Channel.

The naval operations are a cleancut operation as the Dutch European Fleet alone outnumbers the entire Uchamese navy. That combined with the fact that not all Uchamese ships are in Europe (or Africa is undefended) and there's naval support from the Sedrosians. Naval superiority was quickly established and a blockade was put in place. Any shipping trying to reach Uchama will be boarded and checked. Failure to comply will result in the ship being sunk.

The navy is ready to intercept any attempts to break the blockade, as the superiority in both numbers and training will ensure that the Uchamese will not win this war.
