A Word to You All

Dear friends,

As many of you are aware, and I can clearly see, dear comrade Luna has decided to depart from our fabled Orbis... perhaps for the final time.

This is of rather great shock to me... those who have been in contact with me for the past couple years know that I have been allied to Luna since almost the beginning of her story here. As it would turn out, she would become one of my closest (and only) friends, and would be my second in command as I forged Aequitas, alongside Vulcanities, who is also deserving of endless praisse for his role in that matter.

I do know why she left, the exact reason, but for no reason should it be ever published.

So then, what have I dragged myself here to do; my first bulletin in months?

I'm not quite sure, actually...

My wisdom is as exhausted as my imagination... had I any wisdom to begin with, that is. Politics & War has slipped greatly from my time in recent months, simply for other passions and responsibilities. I haven't the slightest idea what the political, social, and economic situation of Orbis is, or has been since I stopped being as active.

From what I can see, many of those from my age have since departed the bulletin world. I am not sure who is left to respond but a few familiars, virtually all of whom are in Aequitas.

Other than that, I find myself alone. But that's nothing new to me. Nor to Rimskaya.

So, what's the plan for the future? Well, it's almost 2100 in Orbis time... perhaps that is a proper time to make a return to active gameplay and perhaps roleplay (if roleplay is even still possible anymore, that is). Or maybe not. 2024 is, I'm expecting, going to be a very busy year for me. So maybe I'll keep up the occasional check-ins and updates... but nothing really important.

Either way, I never really thought about the time I spent here until now... the events I have been a part of, the friends and allies I have made in game, and, as it has come across now... the legacy I managed to leave behind, in the form of Aequitas, as little of it is of my control or influence at this point.

And you know what?

I'm proud to have made my mark on this realm. Maybe it'll grow someday. Maybe, just maybe...
