(NNABC) - Over the past few months, it seems as if Mudusia has rapidly industrialized without warning or reason. More mines and farms have been built, constituting towards the process of rebuilding the military and urban development of more rural areas. Mainly, the production of ammunitions, usage of oil and gas fields, and mining of metals and precious materials.

The cultivation of salt, millet, and wheat have also exponentially, yet unpredictably, increased the economic profits of Mundusia. Formerly national companies and organizations headquartered in of Mundusia have started to pop up internationally possibly because of this. Most notably, the food manufacturing company Solsticaeni which garnered an estimated Ꝁ$300,000 ($297,195.66 USD) within its first month of international release along with the chemical manufacturing company Heralce Liscott Corporation which garnered Ꝁ$263,000 ($260,541.53 USD).

Many economists of Mundusia are calling this the "Pre-22nd Century Rise of Mundusia". Locally, however, it is being more widely known as "Smiter's Gift", referencing the late President Smiter. However, some have warned that a possible economic decrease could happen within the next ten years or so. Following the economic history of Mundusia, there is some evidence to support this claim - but it should be lightly dismissed.

For the most part, Mundusia seems to have become less reliant on the global economy and more self-reliant. The ratio of exports to imports is slowly stabilizing to 1:1, it seems. However, only time can tell if this will be veritable and where everything will go from here is technically unpredictable.

(Kaye, Mundusian Outskirts) - A crime syndicate named "Hughhman Inc." was discovered smuggling in slaves three days ago by border patrol en route from Kaye. The crime syndicate had apparently been doing this for over 4 months before being caught.

Upon coming into contact with the crime syndicate, border patrol attempted to identify them as suspected illegal immigrants. According to border patrol, "the cars they were driving into Mundusia were foreign and not shipped into or made in our homeland." Suddenly, the crime syndicate attempted to shoot at border patrol, which insinuated the start of a gunfight which would last until noon.

At the end of the gunfight, ten were injured and one died. Now able to identify the crime syndicate, border control brought them to local authorities. After intense interrogation, a member finally broke and started to tell about the whereabouts of the crime syndicate's headquarters. They also told of slave operations, responsibility for numerous deaths, tax fraud, and trafficking of all kinds.

Three hours later, the Mundusian Regulation and Control Committee sent in 100 agents to deal with the problem. Given permission to shoot at will upon entering the building, the MRCC agents opened fire. The criminals did not have time to react and were slaughtered with a sort of quickness. In the basement of the facility, MRCC agents found hundreds of natives, foreigners, and children performing non-paid labor. Some had lashes, bruises, and scratches on their back, and were forced to work in an "extremely unsavory" environment.

Even worse, agents had found that the only food source the "slaves" had were their fallen friends and comrades. Some refused to eat their friends, it seems, and perished too. Agents were heavily disturbed by this and quickly freed those who were trapped with no hesitation. In the end, the entire facility was "cleansed" and the crime syndicate's main heads were arrested and will be executed on a later date. Those whom were imprisoned were finally able to see their families again.

The entire incident highlighted the possibility of the underbelly of Mundusia being compiled of organized crime. QW-Korpal General George Zefvr announced that, before his resignation in March of next year, he will "try his best to eradicate the crime that plagues Mundusia."

(NNABC) - New research has been made public from the Mundusian Institute of Ecological Preservation which shows a sharp decrease in the number of native species in Senegal, especially the Scimitar oryx.

In their study, the MIEP found a correlation in the amount of hunting and amount of meat sold on the market in Mundusia and the steady disappearance of these species mentioned in the report. The Scimitar oryx seems to have taken the largest hit, seeing a 20% reduction in their population in Mundusia.

To combat this, the MIEP suggested that wildlife preservation areas should be set up. They also suggested that, in case the problem becomes desperate, wildlife hunting permits be revoked and all hunting be illegal. Of course, this brought up a controversy with trophy earners and those who sell meat. One hunter claimed that "revoking our rights to hunt hurts us all economically."

Presidential candidate Auckle De Cannone stated that "the Loyalist Party will support those who hunt for a living or for fun. There is nothing wrong with it and shouldn't be banned." This statement seemingly gained the Loyalist Party and De Cannone more supporters and pushing them even further up in political influence.
