Education system

Students now must go to school for 14 years counting preschool and kindergarten, both mandatory. School weeks usually go from Monday to Saturday, only getting 1 day off for a small break. A majority of school boards have agreed that school hours are from 6 AM to 3 PM, a whole 10 hours. The schools can't force your to come to school but will mark down how many unexcused absences you have and if you reach a certain amount, they'll report it to the police for them to possibly take the parents/guardian to court.

You're not legally allowed to drop out until the age of 17+ with a signed paper from your parents approving of you dropping out. If they don't sign or don't agree then you may not drop out. If you still go on to drop out even if your paper wasn't signed or agreed upon, which is illegal, you will be found and possibly tried in court, possibly with your parents as well. Now onto homework. If you don't finish your Schoolwork you'll have to do it at home with homework or the next day before heading to school or class, the teacher will have a marking sheet which is where he/she will mark down how much homework or work you haven't turned in that week. Having 4+ markings will get you either after school detention or lunch detention depending on how much you have but having 15+ will result in a parent-teacher meeting/conference where they'll discuss and talk about why their child hasn't turned in or done any school work.

Modern technology such as tablets and better laptops are handed out to students at the beginning of the year for both school work and for certain classes such as art or technologies class. If they're broken the student or parent must pay for it and if it was broken by another student they must pay for it or their parents will have to. The tablets are used for art class, technology class, and to take a picture of your work and transfer it over to your laptop to turn it in if that's what the teacher says to do. Online Hall passes will be accessible through both the tablets and laptops where you have to file out an online form.

Each school depending on size is assigned with either 1 or 2 security guards for the teachers and students safety. The security guards are equipped with a taser and a sidearm. The schools will also have drills such as a tornado drill, fire drill, flood drill, school shooter drill, and if you're more close to the sea/ocean then a possible tsunami drill which will possibly be very effective but is still necessary.

Each school has 2 semesters and each class will usually have 8 to 30 people in them. Boarding schools also exist in some places in the SGP meanwhile, in others they aren't allowed or just aren't there. The grading system is a bit old and anything below an E is a failing grade in the starting years and in the more ending years anything below a possible D or C is a failing grade, depending on the school.

The general grading system:

A = 73% - 100%

B = 60% - 73%

C = 53% - 60%

D = 40% - 53%

E = 27% - 40%

F = 27% and below

Other punishments for not getting good grades, breaking school technology, stealing supplies, and other stuff is a slap, or hit to the face, wrist, knuckles, stomach, back, or somewheres on the arm. The teachers may use their hands, ruler, belt, boot, etc,. The parents must sign a paper if the teachers are allowed to use items but if the teachers use their hands the parents can't do anything except possibly protest or start a petition to stop it and make the schools have it to where the parents have to sign a paper for both.

Birú Outbreak Update

The Birú Death has killed many recently, especially for Korean researchers and soldiers and La Plata soldiers and civilians in the cities. The barrier is still getting built though, soldiers guarding it and checking to see if anyone passing through has the disease. If they do, they'll be killed or sent back to die a slow and painful death. Korean soldiers have been equipped with more protection and equipment now and are sweeping newly lockdowned cities for any infected to possibly take some to research or just to kill. They're going to attempt and find people that aren't infected to simply mask sure they don't get it and die.

The cure hasn't yet been made and won't be expected to officially be made or released until years from now. The vaccines currently aren't too effective but luckily Novist researchers are finding new things and ways to make them and have more effective vaccines to possibly prevent or slow or down. Kaito Yoshitaka has ordered that all flights to and from La Plata to be stopped and cut off and all ships going to and from La Plata to be halted.

New rodent and insect exterminator company

After both rodent and bug infestation reports have been going up in the city of Pyongyang, Seoul, Sokcho, and on work sites a new company has emerged to use this great opportunity to their advantage. They may make a ton of money from this grand opportunity or not. The company's name is ‘Erīto kujo gyōsha’, the company and its workers are specialized in luring, catching, and killing insects and rodents.

When they're in their training stage upon entry they'll be trained over the course of 3 months, going through multiple testing houses catching, and luring the pests that have infested that house. They use various techniques to lure the insects and rodents out such as using food, scent, soft/comfy cushioning, etc. most of these techniques are very effective, working 89% of the time.

The company currently only has a few members and 1 location, that location is their headquarters in Goseong. The building is 2 stories tall, with great lighting and advertisements on the walls of buildings on posters, ads on multiple social media platforms and even on game ads, their TV ads are usually skipped over but they have some on their as well. The ads are usually short or just a picture with their number in it.

Micro-Headlines:

  • Multiple gangs arrested and being tried in court.
  • Fight in the United Clan house between two clans over religion.
  • Aki Maki return to the Korean SGP expected to be soon.
